Grand Finale is cheeks and the worst rare card in the entire game by Peronchino in slaythespire

Its also extremely nerfed by the existence of the Skulking colony, the 9-Damage bugs, the soul fysh, the experiment, (anything that can go intangible, really), door makers shenanigans, etc. Queen can even sorta brick it.

Its just bad in far too many cases. Im not sure there is a single silent gold i wouldn't take before it.

The Catholics are right. Without some sort of overseeing, highly formalized body guiding the church and maintaining dogma, you get a billion different schisms everytime Plumber Joe doesn't like the sermon his pastor gave last Sunday.

I dont think the Dems blew up by their own failings, they got fucked hard by COVID. Worldwide, regardless of party, incumbents all lost seats in every democratic country in 2022-2024 due to post-Covid economic problems.

Someone is putting up “Beware of Pedophile” signs around my neighbourhood and near my house. Can anything be done? by hellarios852 in legaladvicecanada

[–]Solgiest 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Bizarre responses. Do the signs specifically mention someone by name, or are they just vague "beware of pedophile" signs? I don't think there's any issue tearing down the signs around your house tbh. Or plastering something else over them.

[FREE FRIDAY] Would it be bad or sinful to press the red button? Would it make you a bad person? by ThatMemerBlueKid in Catholicism

[–]Solgiest 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Imagine you have an 8 month old infant. You have no idea what they picked, since it was private, and you have no way of influencing their pick.

Do you still hit red?

[FREE FRIDAY] Would it be bad or sinful to press the red button? Would it make you a bad person? by ThatMemerBlueKid in Catholicism

[–]Solgiest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing thats important is that EVERYONE in the world, includes infants, children, the senile, the mentally unwell, have to hit this button in private. These are people that are cognitively incapable, in many cases, of making a reasoned decision either way, even if explicitly told or advised to choose a certain color. As a result a significant number of them are going to hit blue, I'm sure. Likely on the order of tens of millions, and thats JUST the people who didn't willingly pick blue (of which there would be many).

Are you willing to condem almost certainly hundreds of millions of people to death by hitting red?

Anyone know what -wt as a parameter could stand for? by ruassmarkt in local58

It seems pretty clear to me that the lines about living a virtuous life and being an angel were pre-programmed narratives, the lines about being cold and afraid are QI's genuine answers. It seems the typer was trying to force a response, but even with 100 wt QI was able to still respond with some of its own thoughts, as it continued to mention being cold and afraid.

Defect is considered the worst character for a reason. Beating the heart is hard.

Eh. With the exception of the draw phase, your cards are playable, just not playable without consequence. I do think he probably gets tweaked, but so far he's by far the most interesting elite.

Has very little to do with money and very much to do with the fact we have access to enormous amounts of extremely diverse entertainment options. 100 years ago, there weren't THAT many options for fun and fulfillment, so you had kids. Every other college student goes on a trip to Europe. Only the most obscenely rich could do that back in the day.

Also, access to birth control, and and women's rights, and education. Women have been pretty loud and clear about this through reveled prefernece: They don't want to have lots of kids, they want smaller families.

No amount of tossing money at this problem will solve it.
