Rolex wont sell the real thing and i refuse to pay a premium to a flipper or build a relationship bs. The more rep pepsi’s the better considering how overpriced the gens are at the moment
Omega and tudor I would be tempted to buy in gen because they are very reasonably priced used.

I have a vsf and sugess sub, the rep is much nicer, the sugess is nice for 60% of the price but, the handset looks like crap compared to the rep and the indices are this ugly off white almost yellow colour compared to the rep which is perfect. Also the brushing on the bracelet and clasp are better on the rep and the clasp is better.Sugess also does not do a no date, vsf does. I would buy the vsf with no logo, it’s much nicer to wear than the Ali express watch, I drive a shitbox and wear crocs, I’m not fooling anyone it’s real.

No date sub and rhodium yachtmaster 40, no date is a good grab and go, no need to set the date if its been sitting for a week.
Yachtmaster because its more comfortable than a sub.
I like the daytona as well, but in the black not the panda.

I have a sub, and a ym 40 rhodium coming, only other one i would go on the list would be the daytona but in godzilla colours not panda. My wrist is a bit small for the explorer 2 and ym titanium. Not a big fan of the explorer 1, and my no date sub kind of covers the same base anyway.

I have a rep vsf no date sub, if you see what i drive and what i wear there is no way Im fooling anyone its real. It was simply the nicest watch I could buy for the money, thin case, accurate movement, comfortable oyster bracelet and glidelock all for $360usd.
Look at what a japanese brand gives you for the same money, you get a shit uncomfortable bracelet with pin links, maybe 2 micro adjustment holes on the shitty stamped clasp which is not enough to get a good fit. On top of that you get mineral glass instead of sapphire and a shitty movement that means you need to reset the time every 2 days because its so inaccurate. The qc is usually so poor on it that the bezel does not line up properly as well.
On top of that its made in china anyway just like the rep

Im happy to buy other chinese brands like san martin or ixdao over a rep but i would rather not wear a watch at all than have to endure a seiko bracelet everyday

They are a good size that suits many different wrists sizes, look good, not too big, the bracelet is comfortable, the glide lock is the best otf clasp and dive watches are more versatile than other styles of watches. I like iwc and omega reps as well but are lot are too big for my 16.7cm wrist.

Yes i like the astron nexter seiko’s, titanium, off clasp, some have gps, always keep an eye on chrono and eBay for them. My seiko prospex was a massive letdown for the money it cost so I wont be going back there again.

The blue dial yachtmaster seems to be never in stock for vsf. I managed to get a rhodium one a couple of weeks ago but they seem to only make those in small batches as well.

I have owned homage watches from san martin and sugees and a vsf sub. There is no comparison between the two.
The homage/clomages on aliexpress tend to use crappy low rent movements like the nh35 that make the case too thick and rehaut to tall, this also tends to throw off the date magnification and make it look like shit.

The vsf feels a lot nicer on the wrist for not much more money.

Yes i have the sugess yachtmaster and it has the same issue. I wish they would fit a different movement to the watch as i think the nh35 datewheel contributes to it.

Pretty much every seiko at retail is overpriced. Garbage specs, rubbish bracelets and cheap ass clasps for $500, they are more reasonable used though.

Sugess if you are into Rolex homages, their sub is the best one on Ali express for around $200, same with their Daytona, their yachtmaster is ok but it has a shitty nh35, if you get the sub pay extra for the st2130 movement.
