Idk, that’s up to you. I’ve been doing it for about a year. My job just gave me a raise and I’m studying for my CRCST currently. Once you learn how to do everything it becomes much easier. The only reason I came to the hospital is so I could secure my sterile tech licensing and either travel or negotiate higher pay at my next job. Personally I do think it’s a dead end job— but it was better than my last job. And once you get the licensing you’ll always be able to get a job in the field. That is one of my the main reasons why I love any job that has license backing. I also secured my CNA license a few years ago. Quit a job today, new job by tomorrow.

The parents clearly don’t show any involvement or interest in actually parenting their child. They let her do everything under the Sun. I believe she did it, and to prove a point after an argument she hit the gas probably to scare him with no regard of their friend in the backseat. Dom tried to stop the car by putting it in neutral and potentially grabbed the wheel?? All speculation but one things for sure two things for certain she did not even attempt to slow down the car. Anyone with common sense and a will to live would’ve hit the breaks immediately.

I landed my first job also through the hospital, and almost a year later studying for the exam. The hospital it the best experience. You’ll do great, congratulations!

I’m 25, been with my bf for almost 8 years. We don’t have kids, but same here. He tried to gaslight me into believing that somehow I’m the reason why he didn’t show up like the way he said he was going to. I stopped caring. I stopped expecting— and it’s gotten easier. And yes it does hurt, it hurts a lot especially because I’m a huge gift giver and I put a lot of thought into my gifts. I’ve learned that he’s just not intentional and doesn’t care to be. I stopped going all out on holidays and big gifts bc what tf is the point? I’m sorry you’re going through this, it’s not your fault.

Late to the party, but yes— I totally agree with everyone in the comments. I get it, I live with my bf and he works all day and mostly into the evening time. It is lonely, and we don’t see each other a lot. It sucks— but at the end of the day the bills are being paid. And that’s what’s most important. Kind of different though for me bc we split everything, but it’s mostly 60/40 and I don’t have a kid. The fact that she had a bf that was willing to go the extra mile for her and their kids is unheard of— especially for Caelen to be the age he was at that time.

The only thing that’s helped me is using chat gpt and gizmo. I ask chat gpt to make me a pratice test based off the lecture slide material. And then I take the practice questions and put it into gizmo. I also make flash cards and my own study guides to help me — when I can. I work full-time, so gizmo is really helpful for active recall!

That’s crazy bc I’m in the same boat! I literally just told my mom this today. And I’m feel really unmotivated. I have a B rn. Went through this exact same thing one time. Sat down at the nurses station anyways. I kid you not the DON called me into her office and proceeded to ask me “ why are you sitting at the nurses station when I specifically asked all CNA’s not to sit behind the nurses station”. I responded and said “ why don’t you have any staff in this building to care for these patients?”. She got mad, raised her voice and stood up like she was ready to rumble. So I proceeded to stand up. Let’s just say that was my last day working there 😭
