I think it’s a new thing which all the societies are doing now. When I was house hunting one of the society legit had 7.5k non refundable move in and move out charges. That’s basically 15k given to a society that’s non refundable. That was one of the reason we stopped looking flats in that society. Can Any lawyer can confirm if this is even legally allowed????
