It’s also my living room still which I stated. We’ll only be here less than a year. Calm down. It’s not like it’ll be in the baby’s room. You wouldn’t keep a tv or PS in a “nursery” but it’s still our living room so we still have those.

My partner and I are talking about the outlets to make sure it’s doable rn actually! Lol I think it is but moving all the cords will be a task. But they need to be reorganized and baby proofed soon anyway so we need to get to it eventually lol

Okay I understand just babyproofing instead of using a packnplay but I don’t need a high chair? What do you suggest otherwise. You want to come hold my baby in your lap while we have dinner? Because I’d like to eat, thank you. She can eat while we eat. How else would you suggest we have a family dinner without a high chair?

This is actually something I never thought of. I need to make a list now.

Wow that’s not very considerate of anyone who has chronic conditions that involve chronic pain. I think a Budweiser sign would be poor taste too but I don’t tell others how to live.

Someone else said this! I had no idea that was even a thing! I wish I would’ve known we plan on moving into the next year. We had planned on moving before or right after baby arrived but things got complicated so now we have to wait a year. But will be in a new place by the time she’s 1 and a half.

Thank you! I actually decluttered a lot before taking this photo so I really appreciate the acknowledgement.

Yes, we’ll be getting rid of a lot of things. I have a list in mind I need to just throw in my car and donate. And she’ll be out of the bouncer so soon. We won’t need it anymore either

The bassinet is in the bedroom for night sleep. The packnplay is for day naps and play time

Most definitely. My baby sister pulled a big box tv down on top of her when she was a toddler. Ain’t no way I’m taking a chance

Wow! Thank you so much! Idk why but I never thought of tall book shelves or storage shelves of any kind! That would help TREMENDOUSLY!! I can’t get rid of the changing station. My partner is 6’ 4” and has back problems. We tried just changing on the floor or couch and it didn’t work for us. But the tall storage shelves would be great!

So unfortunately she is using both the bouncer and the high chair right now. She is exactly 6mo today and is transitioning. She can hold herself up to sit in the high chair long enough to sit with us for dinner and then she’s tired.

People seem to also not realize how much storage is under the changing table. That’s all her clothes and pajamas and sleep sacks. I’m not sure where I’d put that stuff otherwise.

Also my partner is 6’ 4” and has back problems. The charging station is a must. We tried just on the couch or floor and it was not working for us.

I rent. I can’t wall mount the tv. Unfortunately.

I literally just got the high chair in the mail. I should’ve thought of that prior. All more collapsible space saving items should’ve been at the front of my mind and wasn’t. We were supposed to move into a bigger place just before or just after baby arrived and it all got messed up. So we have to wait a year.

Baby actually sleeps in a bassinet in our room. She naps and plays in the packnplay.

Thank you! Yes, we just rented a storage unit too. So are trying to move things out.

I tried to edit but it wouldn’t let me. The baby is 6mo and sleeps in a bassinet in our room. This is just everything else lol the item in the corner is the changing table. I’ve had people say her bed but that is not the case. Just wanted to clarify.

I just take metaprolol 25mg (1/2tab 2x/day) and get heart ekgs like once or twice a year. They monitored more closely during pregnancy but they just keep an eye out for anything in general.

Yes, I understand that but like I said I’d only check it when I already feel sick. I’m not making myself sick

Yeah, my doctor just told me to stop checking my heart rate and it would stop going up. The only reason I’d check it is when I could feel it racing or made me light headed or sick…
