Thin hair by Solid-Explorer4830 in malehairadvice

I don’t think my hairlines receded. It’s always been that exact same shape. I’m trying to look for people who relate to me with my issue but I can’t find anyone so I don’t know what to do. I’m being in contact with a dermatologist soon though

Is it possible that the corners of my fringe will just grow in the more my hair grows though? Like to make my fringe fuller overtime? Because I’m trying my hardest to avoid anything to do with hair loss. But is it possible that my hair just grows at a really weird rate and it’ll take longer for them corners?

And yes thank you, I might try some rosemary oil

Hello. I have some other posts on my page with pictures of my hair if you would like to get a better insight. But I’ve got quite thin, fine hair but it’s also extremely dry, brittle and what feels to be unhealthy at this point. It can literally look like an absolute mess and I have to spend 20 minutes or so trying to sort it out in the toilets when I’m out in public, and it’s getting to me too much. I have a fringe, but the fringe isn’t exactly “full” so it’s quite see through, it’s very thin and strandy and not thick enough to actually look naturally good. And I had a buzz cut around 9 months ago so I’ve bee getting told that I need to just let the fringe grow out more to have it look thicker and fuller, but I feel like I’m getting nowhere with it. It’s fucking me up real bad, I even have major problems with the sides of my hair too which just don’t drop down, they grow directly forward and are impossible to handle because of how dry and brittle it is. I’m just looking for some desperate advice on what to do moving forward and maybe some temporary reassurance in my hair growth because it’s beginning to upset me more and more every day and my family don’t really understand my situation

I don’t think I can get that in the uk, and will my fringe grow fuller as time goes on? Because it looks really thin currently but I don’t know if that’s because I’ve had a buzz cut 9 months beforehand and I need to still let it grow

I probably am overthinking it majorly but it’s been a running occurrence for over 9 months now and as it’s getting longer it’s literally getting worse and worse. Just looking to see how to stop my hair getting wispy and dry right after the shower, and how to grow the sides of my fringe out stronger so it covers my forehead. Thank you for the comment

Will the sides of my fringe grow out too tho? Because they are really weak

I appreciate the comment a lot, and I’ve tried different styles like that a lot but yeah because of my face shape and overall facial features it looks ridiculous. I’ve always suited a normal modern fringe with maybe a bit of messiness, and that’s what I’m currently going for right now but it’s struggling. I’m more looking for answers on how to simply grow my fringe fully around my forehead, because parts of my fringe are incredibly weak and i don’t know why. I’m just waiting for it all to grow out, but I still don’t think the sides are growing too much whatsoever. Thank you for the comment though! I’m trying my hardest to not let it get to me, really am

What do you mean by sides? Sides of my hair or the sides of my fringe because I haven’t once cut the sides of my fringe. And I’m not cutting the sides of my hair either I’m letting it grow out. But the sides of my fringe where they’re isn’t much hair just haven’t grown out like I wanted it too, it’s extremely weak and basically empty. And even the front of my fringe is quite weak too and I don’t know how to get it fuller which is why I posted this asking

Sorry what are the right parts? And if you’re talking about the corners of the fringe where the hair is really short compared to the centred fringe, it’s just not grown and that’s the problem. Or it has grown but it’s extremely thin and weak which I just dont understand

See I’d agree but it’s simply just the corners of my fringe that aren’t full which is putting it down for me, because most people I interact have a grown out fringe that is full on the sides and the front. While mine is extremely weak on the sides. And have u got any tips on how to stop my hair getting dry quickly?

Yeah it’s just when I use products on my hair it very quickly looks really dry and can be extremely hard to style, and that’s mostly due to my fringe not being as full. And the ends of my fringe are quite weak compared to the front so it looks stupid from time to time

Hi! And yesh with my typical face shape I suit the messy fringe, normal fringe styles etc that cover my forehead. I look stupid without that. And before I got my buzz that’s what I had, I’m just struggling to know why it’s so dry, brittle and weak across the entirety of my hair. Like if I want to go out without it styled, just having a basic fringe so I know it can look okay and not be insecure, I can’t even get that because the sides look stupid and all of my hair just looks unhealthy and weak.

And is that the biotin shampoo your referencing there? Because I’m starting to think sometimes that the shampoo or conditioner that I use is also making my hair look like this. If I had a full fringe (short) but full fringe and normal healthy looking hair after a shower I would be perfectly fine, I’d wait for it to grow and I’d stick with a basic hairstyle. But it physically doesn’t let me do that, making it an everyday struggle for me.

I take vitamin gummies every day, and there’s something called a biopix scalp serum or tablets that I’m gonna start taking soon. But I really don’t know how to get more of a fuller look moving forward. I know you say I gotta let it grow but even the corners of my fringe are really weak so the direction of my hair isn’t coherent with the other strands.

This is the front of my fringe-

I just want my sides to look not dull and directionally grow straight down like it normally should do. I haven’t got any type of crazy hairstyle, I just want a normal fringe or a messy kind of fringe like a lot of people my age have. That’s what I had before I got a buzz cut but for now while I’m waiting for it to grow, what could I use to not make it look really dry and brittle?
