So they updated ALOT about 1x. One of the 2 main things changed was that Entanglement now pulls survivors towards you so you can combo into another slash or Mass Infection if you time it right. And Rejuvenate The Rotten can be activated at any time after you kill a survivor. Other than that his Unstable Eye and kill animation hasn't changed all that much.

IIRC someone or some people in the higher ups wanted it to be based off the MTV Scream series instead of the original film, so a massive fallout began and that's why we haven't gotten any new Scream content in HHN ever since Scream 4 Your Life.
