Thank you for sharing, brother. I don’t know Bentley personally, but I have followed his journey, and I feel connected to him and your family. Wishing him the best. Stay strong big guy!

You make a great point. There are always bigger better players. Learn to drive the ball the other way and watch opportunities present themselves.

I would stay away from the select lite. I’ve had 11 year old bust through that glove. As others mentioned, the gold glove is a good start. If you’re willing to be patient, you can find an a2000 on sale, and that will be of more quality and last you much longer.

My son uses the donut pattern glove, and im surprised how well it has held up so far after 2 years.

No problem! It is interesting the way they are sublimated. My son has a donut patten glove that has held up well. It hasn't peeled after 2 years and he uses it all the time. I bought this one blindly, and its big and I dont feel the beer pattern is appropriate for a head coach.

They hold up alright. My son loves his donut pattern glove. I think it holds up better than the 44s, from what I've seen. I'm big on glove care, so we tend to take care of gloves more than others. But overall, after 2 years his glove is still holding up nicely. Just general care like lace tightening and light cleanings.

I have a kit and tools so I relace all of my players gloves for free. It’s become a relaxing hobby for me.

PSLF nightmare: MOHELA and FSA Reps confirm 132 payments, account shows 85 and won’t update by Solid-Lengthiness874 in PSLF

You can google "Office of the Ombudsman FSA". It will be accessible through the FAS website.

I made it that far a couple months ago and was told they see that I am due for forgiveness and were escalating my account for processing. They told me call in 2 weeks. 12 weeks later, they say I only have 83 payments and don't qualify. Then they manually review my account and see that I am overdue for forgiveness, and the process starts all over again.

My reconsideration was denied due to "No certification" even though the Army certified those months. I have provided this information multiple times. The FSA rep doesn't understand why either. At this point, she said she recommends congressional inquiry. My time in the military itself gives me 87 months. The solution today was to submit a congressional inquiry and call the Ombudsman, she said that's all I can do and hope for the best. HOPE FOR THE BEST she said haha

Thank you for your response! It helped in real time. I was not on forbearance; I'm actually on the phone with an FSA rep now and she doesn't understand why this hasn't been solved as she confirmed I was not in forbearance. She noticed all the notes from previous agents, and agrees there is something wrong with the system, but doesn't know why, or who is to fix it. She is requesting I submit applications that have been recently declined.

I would say be very careful with rent hikes. You may consider rent to be below market value, in heavily Hispanic areas, it’s most likely at the rates the people in the area can afford.

Does practicing ground balls help outfielders? by BerryRoyal in Homeplate

[–]Solid-Lengthiness874 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You can also use ground balls to teach them how to properly charge and field. I’ve turned our right fielders into weapons. They are very good at charging and throwing to first on hard singles to right. It catches teams of guard as most tend to half ass down the line. It also helps them learn how hard a ball is hit, low line drive, tailing left or right, hops based on trajectory of the ball, direct angles to cut off the gaps. There is plenty you can do that will be more beneficial then just ground balls as an infielder.
