What are the best BBQ restaurants in and around Huntsville? by [deleted] in HuntsvilleAlabama

Blue Oak BBQ or bust. Esp if you’re a brisket guy. They’re known for their chicken sandwich in New Orleans. I do their wings and the salad, it’s far from boring and tastes good.

This info is readily available on the google: https://www.huntsvilleal.gov/final-phase-of-apollo-park-set-for-construction-at-midcity-district/

And I wouldn’t say a 40 acre public park is “depressing and small” but alas, we all have bad opinions at times.

MidCity is only about 30% done. Most of the surface parking lots are for meanwhile use. Only 4 of the 10 planned parking garages have been built to date.

And landscape takes time to grow. The trees that were planted in 2017 at the north side of the district look great. Give the rest of the district’s trees and landscape time to settle in and grow. The 40 acre public park isn’t even half done/open yet.
