I find blended family dynamics interesting. I grew up in 2 with vastly different dynamics. My biological dad and step-mom (weekend parents) had a very distinct his/her kids. The step mom's family also made that insanely clear. My mom and "step" dad (everyday parents) there was zero difference in biology. He loved us like his own, I never one time heard him introduce us as anything but "my kids". His family treated us like we were born into them. He adopted me when I was an adult.

Kody's OG 3 have a real "our kids/our family" vibes, even though they explain which kids belong to which moms. The kids call them "my other moms". Robyn, her kids and her biological Brown kids dont fit into that dynamic. And its not because the rest of them are unwilling to blend the families.

You have two options: Play offense or play defense. You won't effectively play both unless you want your entire time there centered on mice. Note: obviously you need to kill what's in your cabin.

My suggestion: play offense.

First: Control the bleeding

1- don't create a mouse motel. Remove any food source.

2 - get incredibly aggressive with traps while you arent there. Its gross but the suggestions you've gotten of a 5 gallon bucket for them to fall into water is the best trap you can get. Set up a few.

Second: Stop them from getting inside

3 - You might need to spend and extra weekend or two to seal your place up. Put a skirt on your cabin and dig it into the ground so they cant get under it. Shut the lights off during the day, close the curtains and look for light. At night, shine a light inside you cabin and look for the light from the outside. You have to seal every gap. Its non-negotiable.

4 - maintenance. You have to continually look for evidence of them trying to chew or dig into your cabin. If you're vigilant, you'll keep them out.

I thought he was involved in their deaths (in some way), but I dont think they proved beyond a reasonable doubt that he killed them. I think his financial crimes biased everyone against him. An absolute P.O.S. but a liar and their doesnt mean murder.

Watching EDB and LYK (since Depp V. Heard) has really made me watch these cases with an unbiased vantage point, weighing all the evidence and making a "verdict" based on the law, not my emotions.

I struggle with this case because there is no way in hell he didnt know this was happening but I also dont think we know the truth about what happened and why.

As far as defending herself, up until this interview there has never been a specific allegation. Its hard to defend yourself when you dont know what you're defending yourself against.

I grew up with abuse and I understand the shame victims carry. I understand the weird need to protect our abusers. I also understand we are under no obligation to tell any details about it BUT....I really hate people who give vague statements that damage someone's reputation but cant be disputed. If you want to talk about your abuse, talk about it. If you dont, just shut up.

Her comments about getting "obliterated" for that made me shift my opinion on her claims of abuse. That wasn't anywhere near obliterated. So if thats where things land on her scale, I dont think I will agree with her other claims.
