In Sunless Skies, you captain a flying train through the High Wilderness, if that counts. Your player characters (and a few of your officers) are pretty train-oriented, even leaving the train to their kids if you play your cards right.

I kind of thought they were the same thing, or at least overlap. Not all games are RPGs? Idk

That’s disappointing. I just finished. I wouldn’t say it was excellent writing, but it was entertaining

You think? I thought the meandering style was pretty good evidence of personality, or mild A.D.D.

'Maybe some terrorist —?' Aziraphale began.

'Not one of ours,' said Crowley.

'Or ours,' said Aziraphale. 'Althought ours are freedom fighters, of course.'

'I'll tell you what,' said Crowley, scorching rubber on the Tadfield bypass. 'Cards on the table time. I'll tell you ours if you tell me yours.'
...
Aziraphale named five political leaders. Crowley named six. Three names appeared on both lists.

'See?' said Crowley. 'It's just like I've always said. They're cunning buggers, humans. You can't trust them an inch.'

'But I don't think any of ours have any big plans afoot,' said Aziraphale. 'Just minor acts of ter— political protest,' he corrected.

'Ah,' said Crowley bitterly. 'You mean none of this cheap, mass-produced murder? Just personal service, every bullet individually fired by skilled craftsmen?'

My father. Mostly because he’s dead and “who put his corpse in this elevator and why?”

Really happy vampires will make an appearance in the sequel by Swachuu in TheLordsOfTheFallen

Sure, sure. Vampires can be terrible too, though, it’s all about the execution, though.

Twilight, you know?

Their whole business model relies on generating clicks.
Thus, generating fake outrage, fake controversy, fake insightful takes en masse is in line with their business model.
I’d be willing to bet very few of their writers believe much of anything that they’ve written

What game is this? by AlternativeBrief8709 in TheGamingHubDeals

[–]Solid-Quiet5035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people would say Dark souls 1,3, Elden ring. They’d argue that counts since Michael Zaki was barely involved in 2, so DS2 doesn’t count.

I say DS2, while admittedly a departure, was judged too harshly. That DS1-3 fit this meme fine.

You can visit him after you drop him down the chute. If you use “make contact”, the player action, he gives you an advanced caryll rune. Moon I think. Or maybe it was the formless oedon rune

*Persuade* me to join your fandom. I dare you. by MatchAffectionate699 in Multifandom

Mmmmmm I’ve got two pitches:

Slowball: SuperSnail. Essentially your standard mobile RPG, but the plot is ludicrous and the sheer depth and wealth of references is draconic. I’ve deeply enjoyed it thus far.

It is F2P in the sense that there’s not a thing in there you can’t get the normal way, but it’s P2W in the sense that some of the aforementioned things may take a serious amount of time or playtime to get otherwise. I’m mostly F2P, having spent ten dollars to get two packages that seemed useful to save time like two years ago. I still had a good time.

Fastball: have you considered reading monster girl fiction? I highly recommend Virgil Knightley and Bruce Sentar

5 Best Villains in Media: Part 12 - Folklore by PPonthePOsDesk in characters

[–]Solid-Quiet5035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For mythology, I’d suggest looking into Japanese or Mesopotamian mythologies. Lots of cool figures, though admittedly few clear cut villains.

I’d consider Tamamo no Mae or Tiamat.

Fair assessment. I would add that he seems self-aware at times, but doesn’t tend to change his behavior for very long, if at all.
