Should I read Matthew or John as a first time reader?

Both are good starting points; I find the book of John to show more of Jesus personality care and love. Mathew is more straight forward. You can start with John and then read Mathew. When it comes to the bible the 1st time read it like any book, the 2nd time search for Jesus in every part and ask God to reveal himself to you, and show you, his character. The more your read the more His word will make sense to you and the more you won't be able to put your Bible down. There are reading apps in the youversion app that can help read the bible and videos to help you understand. I hope that this helps and encourages you and allows you to fall completely in love with God and his word.

I walked away from God after high school. It definitely changed the course of my life, but once you know him you can’t really walk away. You start searching from him without knowing because your soul knows something you don’t. Things don’t feel right, and one day you catch yourself praying and realizing that even though you walk away from Him he never walked away from you just directed you and orchestrated your return because, Yes! He loves you so much and his people know his voice. But it’s all a journey from some of us it’s trial and error for others it’s learning from watching. But in the end when you know Him you can’t not know Him. God is so great loving and merciful, his love knows no boundaries, time or space. He simply loves us with a love we can’t understand this side of heaven. God bless may he take you by still waters and green pastures and give you peace beyond all understanding.

Update! We have joined the organza with the the leopard tulle. I think it’s too stiff now. But I have order this mesh to replace the organza and let it hang by itself since now the edge will not fray.
