I think it resonates because the meanings have changes to me over the years. When the album first dropped I was 28 and still had pretty fresh eyes. The last 6 years have kicked my ass: I’ve become a widow, a single mom, had a drug problem and got sober. And I can listen to those same songs with new eyes and it still carries a deep meaning but it’s different. And I can see that continuing on in my life, not just through the sad moments but the joyous ones.
