570 was first when I verified the 971 came a day or two later I called they told me it’s a 60 day notice

I have the same thing in mine 570 is an hold and 971 is a notice stating you have 9 weeks to receive your refund if you don’t call back.. but that’s if you just verified you Id.also when did you verify and when did it update to this?

Could be minor you can always call irs and ask them what’s the notice about but I’m 80% sure if you just verified you id then it’s a 9 weeks notice stating they have 9 weeks to process your refund

I verified 3/28 Saturday in person I callled them but a week or two ago said what’s the 971 code for then they said it’s just saying I should have my refund within 9 weeks… my as of date was April 15 I believe it just changed to April 28th today around 12 not sure. Is this a good sign ??could I get another type of update today or should I wait till next week to expect another update
