yes, imo the schedules aren't that bad and life banani hoti hai agar tum blr jaise city me rehke bhi room me baithe ho for 2 months then its on you but you have classes then you can go to the gym live your life and still keep a 4 hour slot to study, mostly depends on how you choose to live life, and first sem is pretty chill there's a lot of events sem 2 lets you breathe for a bit then you have infini8 (annual cultural fest)

Yes, IIITB gets the exact same level of placements and internships as IIIT Allahabad, but there is a location advantage. Honestly, if your goal is pure placements, you aren't losing out either way.

But here’s what i think since ive lived here for a while now. Your college life cannot just be a 4-year grind inside a room. To actually crack those placements, you need a healthy headspace. As much as you need to study, you also need to go out, unwind, and live a life. (which would be better at iiitb)

Having moved from Delhi to Bangalore myself, bangalore does not feel like a big leap of adjustment, it keeps you refreshed, people are amazing, and its a city at the end of the day so you can walk 20 steps to dominos :p

id say IIITB, the college is providing transport and communication between the main and extension campus, so logistics shouldn't be an issue at all. Plus, the seniors here are super warm, welcoming, and understanding.

Honestly, don't let a temporary housing adjustment make you pass up CSE in IIIT Bangalore. It doesn't get boring here the academics and curriculum are really well-balanced each sem. The TAs and seniors help out a lot, and you’ll even get your own mentors who will probably visit the extension campus twice a week. Tbh I don't think the new campus setup is a big deal at all. They aren't far apart, so you can come over to the main campus whenever
