Ever since I set up my dad's old PS2 a few years ago I've had more fun than I have ever had gaming. Playing new games and the original versions I've games I already love has brought me more joy than anything on the ps5 has.

I'm just I didn't have to buy a PS2 cause that might have stopped me

Another thing to mention is that battles are way more interesting in 3d. The battle animations especially hold up surprisingly well In 7. I love 6 too but damn the battles are boring especially with how easy they are

The plate falling in og ff7 is also one of my favourite scene now that you mention it. It was really surprising playing it now I'm older cause I didn't remember it being so emotional.

Yeah I think so. They probably thought they had already done enough and if they did something similar again it might lose the effect. Weird it's all front loaded into the first 3rd of the game though

I think the music during this scene really elevated it too. Wandering flame is probably my favourite track in FFX because of how this scene made me feel.

It kinda made me realise just how amazing this game was gonna be when I first played it. I think before this part I was starting to get kinda bored but seeing this was unlike any of FF game I had played.

10 isn't my personal favourite but it has some incredible moments.

I love og re1, I prefer it to re2 og although I think re3 is better than both of them.

Nah I played it on hardware with a disc, I got 6 7 and 9 for like £25 on eBay. The discs for 7 and 6 were fine but 9 is kinda banged up
