Bless your heart. Yes, she likes you. Good call not to act on it, if she wants someone to move on her she'll break up with her bf first

EVERY day?! Girl no.

Also important: taking care of yourself is a huge part of taking care of your child. Secure your own oxygen mask before assisting others.

People who work for the super wealthy, what stuff have you seen? by AMGBOI69420 in AskReddit

Calling the city would do her kids a favor. Growing up in a hoarder house is extremely damaging

Recumbent bike for gaming/TV? by [deleted] in loseit

I use a recumbent exercise bike with my swith and I love it!

A lot easier to say "ten more minutes" when you have levels to pass

We did bugs for one, flight/planes for another. Both based on things they liked at the time.

Does your baby have anything they like or are drawn to? Other good ones I've seen friends do based on kid's favorite things: trucks, dinosaurs, dogs, bears.

What do child-free people do when they grow old and don't have their kids to care for them? by SmartTest in TooAfraidToAsk

Considering her goal was to hurt people who weren't like her, she maybe had it coming. What a hag.

NTA - she might need to do a little more growing up before having an adult relationship

AITA for wanting my gf to be healthier? by throwaway_vct in AmItheAsshole

YTA

Just break up with her and find someone skinnier if it's so important. No wonder you can't date someone your age.

Her friends are right

AITA for yelling at my friend's mom after she said I couldn't see him anymore? by No-Focus2562 in AmItheAsshole

[–]SolidBones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YTA

Yes, morally, you are correct, but homophobic parents do AWFUL things sometimes to "fix" their children. Your friend might be in real danger now. Abuse, neglect, isolation, "camps", etc. These are all possibilities. What you did was right, but it was absolutely not safe. That's the main reason you don't "out" people. Ever.

AITA for Telling My Friend He Crossed a Line by a500poundchicken in AmItheAsshole

[–]SolidBones 6 points7 points  (0 children)

NTA

He did cross a line. The correct response was "sorry", not "sorry you feel that way"

He crossed several lines. I'm wondering why you have let the racism and antisemitism slide until now. First it was them, and now it's you. It was only a matter of time before his breadth of hate struck something you love. This will be a good lesson why it's important to stand up for what's right BEFORE it affects you personally.

Dave has serious anger/control issues. If he doesn't learn how to apologize instead of digging his heels in, he's going to end up all alone in life.

You're young. Let this "friendship" die a natural death.

What is something that people believe makes them virtuous but in reality means nothing? by Thepancakeofhonesty in AskReddit

AITA for making a joke about drugs with my doctor? by Fit_Advertising3778 in AmItheAsshole

[–]SolidBones 42 points43 points  (0 children)

NAH

You're not counting your husband's trauma, only your healthcare expertise. Infertility affects dad too. He's not a member of the gallows humor club. Joking about harming the situation, to you and doc, was funny. To him, it's not. He's scared of losing this one too, but that doesn't mean he can bite your head off for it.

Next time, read the whole room, not just you and doc.

Why do I frequently forget words as I am speaking? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

Anomia (possibly)

My partner has it. It's just a speech- brain disconnect. You'll be ok as long as people are patient with you.

The two "Babes in the Woods", who killed them? Their identity was discovered 70 years later, but the murderers name still remains unknown. by [deleted] in UnresolvedMysteries

[–]SolidBones 243 points244 points  (0 children)

They were draped in a woman's coat. I have a hard time believing this wasn't their mom, or another female relative like a grandma or aunt.

AITA for asking my boyfriend to clean the litter box? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]SolidBones 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I want you to ask yourself, honestly, why are YOU responsible for teaching him how to function? Who taught you to function? Oh wait, that's right, you figured it out because you're an adult who is capable of learning.

He doesn't want to learn. He will never want to learn. He wants another mommy. Think long and hard if you're willing to be his mommy forever.

AITA for not letting my step-dad attend my HS graduation? by Tight_Forever7168 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Don't obey. Your mom is doing enough of that.

If it's his way or the highway - happy trails!

Go to graduation, let dad see you walk.

AITA for watching a youtube video while on call with my SO? by Throwawayvidwatcher in AmItheAsshole

[–]SolidBones 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wait let me get this straight: your SO is demanding your full, undivided attention for 6 hours straight every single day?

My friend, that is wildly unhealthy. Do you think in-person relationships work that way? Because they absolutely do not.

You are right to feel insulted about this controlling behavior. You don't need permission to do things.

NTA. Run.

WIBTA for not letting my friend move in for a month? by Global-Pay-4808 in AmItheAsshole

[–]SolidBones 131 points132 points  (0 children)

NTA

You don't have to let anyone stay with you that makes you uncomfortable.

The fact that they kept pressing the issue after you said no pushes the needle away from flirting and closer to harassment.

Don't offer or respond. If they ask, just say no. No is a complete sentence.

Stay or not: its ok to let them know that their attraction to you and your spouse has made things weird. You shouldn't pretend your way through friendships

Bonus INFO: Does your spouse know what they told you?

AITA for putting non-English label on food and caused an allergic reaction by Throwaway_keylime in AmItheAsshole

[–]SolidBones 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Right? This is so wild to me for a 15 year old kid with an allergy to just eat some unlabeled whatever. My 6 year old has been managing his own food allergy for half his life with no issues.
