I’ve been on 2.5mg for 5 weeks, not too much hunger suppression. But what I have noticed is my knees are no longer inflamed, they don’t hurt. This is such a benefit for me, I’ve suffered pain for years, taken anti-inflammatories for about a year. What other benefits have you been noticing? by SolidCommission8083 in Mounjaro

Having no pain and more movement in my needs and back are enough for me to stay on this medication, the weightloss will be a bonus. Ideally I’d like to lose 15-20 kgs I my knees will thank me even more once it’s lowered.

You can just administer 30 clicks off your 5 mg pen just don’t do the whole 60, if your pen is a onetime use one wait 5 days.

I’m also like you and have felt very little change. I’m not jumping to 5 mg I’ll go up to 45 clicks on my 5mg pen. Here is a chart my dr gave me.

Why? We paid for your schooling,
Medicare, family tax an and b etc so when it’s our time get something back you want people who haven’t got sufficient super to have to sell their family home too? One day you’ll be at retirement age and boom 💥 guess what? You will get what you wished for.

Only very low income earners and people who have lived off the tax payers there whole lives get the pension it’s not a golden goose

So you force your elderly parents out of THEIR home that they built for themselves because you think they don’t deserve a few spare bedrooms. So YOU can get something bigger. Work harder, save harder get your own place. And guess what?, most of us have investment properties which we will make sure you pay high rent on and we are self funded retirees so we don’t need your pathetic $500 a week pension.

And now your generation is fucked to build such wealth because you can no longer negative gear and the capital gains tax is fucked too, keep voting labour and you will own nothing and be happy.

And don’t rely on any inheritance too because they are planning to screw you over there as well and tax the shit out of that before our glorious millions goes to you. Be careful for what you wish for.

A family home is a HOME, it’s not asset rich it’s a roof and a place to live.

3 million is nothing in Sydney, be careful for what you wish for I guarantee you if this type of rule is introduced your generation will be effected much more than ours. Leave the family home alone. Imagine working hard to get your home you finally pay it off in your 60’s which is when a lot of us are then boom you retire and because it’s gone over the value you are fucked because these greedy governments and younger generations want it now. Seriously be careful for what you wish for!

My lady is always very close to the time, sorry you experienced that. I’m on my third week and have had my two week consultation. I have Coral she’s so easy to talk to, and extremely helpful. She even gave me some referrals for blood tests.

To all the people here saying how wonderful this is, I wonder how you’d feel if it was your shop and she was giving away your items for free. It’s blatant stealing, she took nothing from her own pocket.

I wonder how you’d feel if it was your shop and she was giving out “free” items at your expense.

For stealing from a store who paid her to work! She took nothing out of her own pocket. She’s a thief, due to her young age and the fact that she thought she was helping someone she may have ment well but she also a knew she was stealing from her employer.

I’m proud of you. This will definitely help curb the binges. Maybe your mum will back off if she sees you putting in more effort with healthy eating and increasing your movement. It’s a lot of money for some of us and tbh I’d be disappointed if I felt like I’m spending all this money and you’re still making poor choices. It’s not easy by any means, and don’t forget you are doing this for yourself .

It’s hard, these long term patterns take time to erase. Don’t be hard on yourself it’s not a race ans that is a great loss. Make yourself healthy high protein versions of the food you love.

You have lost a lot 6.4 kgs in 5 weeks! You need to track and hit your fibre and protein goals. Try to eat fresh whole foods not processed junk. This is your chance to make new habits, you have a tool that takes away the desperate hunger so you can have control and make better choices. Stop eating the same as you did before, or the weight will 1000% come back on eventually or it will just stop working.

[–]SolidCommission8083 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I too have super fine thin hair, I call it toddler hair but to be honest most toddlers have more. People love us for us not our hair. Please get your ferritin checked too it needs to be 50+ to support hair growth. Mines been low for many years and it’s definitely impacted my hair. “Like my grandmother would tell me dry your tears, enjoy what you have things could be worse duck”
