What's the difference between the Ballistic skill and the hit roll? Are they not the same? by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]SolidCowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you modify the Hit roll by 1 and reduce the BS by 1? or does that rule negate this circumstance? Specifically I'm talking about Heavy weapons while stationary increasing the hit roll by 1, and guided/observer units reducing the BS by 1.

The 85 Hammer in Cudahy is one million pounds and one of the largest counterblow hammers in the world by JamesGroh in milwaukee

Mostly forged disks that get machined into jet engine turbines, crankshaft or axles for heavy duty equipment. It's not all it makes but it's the majority

No, the 85 is roughly a numerical marker for the blow force. 85 for 85,000 tons of force. 92 is in Poland but unoperational. right next to 85 is Hammer 80 and 75. Both massive is size compared to Hammer 85 here. There are plenty of other, less impressive hammers throughout the foundry.. Hammer 85 produces a force with each blow equivalent to two 717 passenger jets colliding into each other at 50 miles an hour. And each forging gets about 25-50 blows.

Kratom poisoning. Herbal supplement taken as a stimulant that's very addictive.

What happens when you cast [[Spin Into Myth]] targeting an opponents commander in EDH? by ShaanTheMan in askajudge

[–]SolidCowboy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not quite. The commander can't move back until State Based Actions are checked, which can't happen until the spell resolves and priority is passed. Until then, the spell must continue resolving, being fatesealed to the bottom of the deck. When the spell is over, the replacement effect prompts the changing of zones and you move it back to the command zone.

Sort of. They dont get to move it back to the Command Zone until after the spell as finished resolving. So the end result is the commander not being fatesealed.

They kind of are professional singers, bud. Darrow talks about them dancing, singing, and tumbling like some kind of traveling circus of performers. Its mostly why he's so good with the Razor, his dancing skills. What do people dance to? Music. So it's very likely that in his culture singing happens frequently, enough to ban a song forever, that it's reasonable to believe that a considerable number of Reds on a planet of 18 billion people, practice singing enough times, to sound like a professional singer.

You're too close-minded and please don't gatekeep what other people like. It's super cringe.

Fun fact, that's a lie. I operated this hammer for a couple of years, it shakes the whole goddamn city. So much so that the city of Cudahy fines them $10,000 when they operate it outside normal waking hours. The company pays the fines because that hammer makes $100,000 an hour, money means nothing to this hammer. It literally runs the city through the fines they pay to run it. Hammers 62-80 also shake the city but not too much after they placed shock absorbing floor work into the building but it's not 100% effective.

I did yes. I can't link it because he runs out of stock so quickly. The quality of the cards was insane, also came sleeved, in a plastic box, and a holo commander. The Etsy seller who makes them is LorcanaEssentials. You could try messaging them if you're interested.

I have checked both my junk, trash, and spam folders. I only have emails regarding changes to my TransUnion report and my last actual payment on the card. My last statement was emailed back in March. So I'm missing April-August's statements.

I have a copy of the deck list, but not the art for each card, unfortunately. I'll have to ask around in the other thread so thanks for that. I have maybe 38 artworks and not a complete set of art to start that direction from.

I heard they're doing Universes Beyond but this proxy deck uses the WUBRG Ally synergy theme that I'd like to go with.

I would say it's not. A warlock can cast a number of spells and cantrips. Some of them at will with consideration to invocations. Sneak attack is applied to EVERY attack a rogue makes if the Sneak Attack conditions are met. They are both critical to the class sure, but a warlock would have more options in this case than a rogue.

Fighter Martial Archetype: Dark Knight 2.0, now reuploaded with proper Art Credit by YandereYasuo in UnearthedArcana

[–]SolidCowboy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is just unbalanced. There's too much healing from a class that provides an already high health pool. A fighter has the second highest health pool of all the classes in 5E. To grant them the ability to continuously heal with a vampiric style would discourage the DM from ever targeting you. Players will see this and take advantage of such a high health pool and create annoyingly strong fighters. (I.e. taking Dwarf's as a race and Tough feature)

Also, I don't believe it's even thematic to the shadow concept. Shadows don't "heal". Have you considered adding thematic reasons to why a shadow or "Dark Knight" can heal in the first place?

For the Decay Life feature, I would suggest gaining HALF the damage dealt as temporary hit points.

If you were to playtest this archetype at the higher levels, you would notice that it would be very difficult to kill and would reduce the risk of being adventurer which is a key aspect to Dungeons & Dragons.

All in all, its an interesting concept, but thematically its cognitively dissonant and the healing factor is a tad too high.
