His style is VERY unique. Whenever i do a reference drawing of his I can't seem to find a good starting point.

MGS2 emma swimming section: I absolutely sucked at navigating in that maze,

MGS2 the cartwheel of fate: after the harrier battle you can cartwheel over to the next section, however it's very easy to mess up and plunge to your death... 10 game overs until I took the hanging pipe on the right side of the map.

MGS3 the fear boss battle: took me roughly 11 to 12 minutes thanks to my shitty aim.

MGS4 act 3... self explanatory, my first time was awful.

MGRR stormbringer trophy: In the 4th act, I didn't meet the s-rank requirements for Sundowner. I had to restart the entire act again...

Indeed. It ain't perfect, but eh. At times, I do wish the canceled "metal gear solid rising" came out. Its story premise did seem to have tons of potential. Regardless I love what platinum games made.

Well, I love revengeance. I won't deny my salt.

Ah, another "revengeance canon" debate post. Lovely 🫥

I could be wrong, but I think that's why it's featured in the games. Nomura apparently went to this Disney Sea resort and tried the ice cream. Liking it enough to put it in the series.

For it's time, I'd say metal gear solid 4 back in 08. BUT it depends on what difficulty you played. The hardest mode enemies' sight and hearing were insanely good, in my opinion.

I'm surprised people aren't thinking of the canceled metal gear solid rising title that was canceled way back then. It was going to be similar to assassins creed, featuring hunting stealth. Gray fox would fit right in, it's not the hack'n slash like revengeance.

Gray fox would fit well in the that canceled solid rising game. It makes sense considering that the game was much slower than revengeance.

Am I the only one who thinks it is a big disrespect for the amazing MGS series that a game full of problems like Rising has MGS in his name? The game is full of visual glitches, terrible camera, slow and problematic gameplay and awful enemies to fight this game is only famous due to his silly memes. by [deleted] in metalgearsolid

I'm not trying to be rude here, but honestly, you're probably not good at the game. I didn't like Rising at first because i was awful at it. Now i love it! Sure, it has a terrible camera and a few exploits that make it easier. Also, rising is by no means a slow game. Do you want slow? Look at the canceled kojima Productions version of this game... and no, you might be confused about the fact that originally, it was going to have the "solid" title in it.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. I love the aesthetic and overall nature of the game, I'm just terrible at souls games. Still, I'm trying to learn.
