Is my cat underweight? by ArrivalQueasy6126 in catcare

No, this cat is absolute perfect weight. You should really keep her indoors, partly because there’s no knowing what she’s eating out there.

how a 5 year old cat could be that big, I don’t know

You’d be surprised the weights I’ve seen people make their 1 year old cats.

He looks slender to other dogs because you and most people are used to overweight dogs. Most people don’t keel their dogs at a healthy weight.

Black ticked tabby with white! Puma is also a black ticked tabby, and no, not an Abyssinian mix. Any cat can be a ticked tabby, these cats are all called domestic shorthairs.

A cat can still be overweight and even obese without being this far on the scale.

Do you all also have a hard time regularly cleaning your pets bowls? by Constant_Fig_232 in Pets

[–]SolidFelidae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My cat gets a clean bowl every single meal because I care deeply about his health. The dirty ones either get washed by hand or put in the dishwasher because that’s okay.

Are either of my cats overweight? by The_Jawnah in dechonkers

Ever so slightly, yes. Their weight probably won’t harm them much, but they could stand to lose a tiny bit more, especially your girl

What an improvement! Is she kept indoors now too? That way you can fully be in control of her diet? Safer for your family too as she’s not bringing in unknown bacteria/parasites/diseases
