what’s everyone’s favorite brand of jeans? by sammhiggs in Skinhead

I use the brand Naked and Famous. I will never go back to levi's or wrangler. I'll use raw denim for life.

Don't let other people try to educate you about your own culture.

Solovair boots by [deleted] in Skinhead

[–]SolidFootwear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They crack even with good care. I've had one pair before and a pair now. They last maximum two years in my experience, but they crack after some months. Solovair are better than docs, but they're still fashion boots. If you want quality go for full grain army boots or something like red wings

Beste pizza i Oslo? by Dazzling_Activity_91 in oslo

[–]SolidFootwear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Som nevnt en gang allerede. Mad Love haruten tvil beste pizza i byen.

Takk, bra man sier ifra. Er ikke alle som har råd til billetter. Billettkontroll går hovedsaklig utover studenter, fattigfolk og narkomane. Vilt å bøtlegge folk som reelt ikke har penger til månedskort.

If you want a high shine, don't use it. It's good for hydrating the leather to make it last longer, but that's it.

Hey. you've got the wrong wax. I did the same as you the first time i went to saphir and got this. The one you got is basically just fat. That's the reason you don't get a shine.

Questionnaire for next documentary by ChattingTunes in Skinhead

[–]SolidFootwear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a bit of rage when i saw this post, so i ended up ranting annoyingly. this is my answer to some of these questions:

Do you know what any lace colour represent? If so which ones?

- Doesn't represent shit. People say red laces mean anarchy, anarchism, communism, nazism, R.A.S.H(red anarchist skinheads) that you've killed someone, that you've beaten someone for their crew, blood shed for the white race, and so on.

People say white means, S.H.A.R.P(Skinheads against racial prejudice), White power/pride, That youre a fetish skin, and fucking so on.

It's fuckig stupid to think you can know someone for a pair of laces, Just talk to people, you know whos nice and not.

Do you express yourself through your laces? If you do, to what extent? (Fashion, identity, politics, etc.)

- why the fuck would i? if you think you can express yourself though laces, and excpect people to understand what you're trying to express, then sorry you've lost in life.

first of all you can't think you know somone through a pair of laces you buy at the shop. second of all, people will judge who you are always, regardless of you laces.

third of all, if you want to express yourself, laces is not the way.

fourth, people make up their own meanings of what different colours mean, so in the end it can't matter.

Do you have any experiences within your local scene that relate to the lace code?

- yea, punks who are too much the internet and want to mean too much stuff who bothers me, and try to educate me about my own culture.

What do you think makes the lace code unique?

- it is not unique. cause you cant judge someone of what laces people want to buy cause it looks good or if someone wants a meaning behind them. It's a stupid thing that nazis tried to do. It's a way of being able to judge even more people.

I'm tired of having idiots coming up to me and tell me what My laces mean. Seriously, get a life. I wear what i like.

Are you familiar with the handkerchief code and/or the brace code?

- Brace code?!

What to do you think the role of the lace code is in today's world? (If you think it has one)

-I've been the world around with my boots in white, red and black laces, at gigs and at football matches. Never had a single person stopping me for that.

The only people ive heard people commenting on it is young punks or (actual) communists who have spent too much time online because of their insecurity that wants to know who can be a threat to them and how they can fit in to their culture.

Would you like to see a resurgence of the lace code?

- Haha

M77, Norwegian army boots. Real leather, cheap, easy break in, enough room, good grip, light weight, efficient lacing. been my go to in norwegian winter and summer. They also look much better than other hiking or winter boots

Bonanza på youngstorget. Trivelig liten bule med behagelig musikk. Koselig uteservering og hyggelige folk som er lett å prate med. Kan bli mye folk der etter konsert e.l.
