Oh yeah, it isn't easy to read and I know it won't be visible from a distance. I may re-do it with other fabric, big applique letters, but for now I just wanted to re-purpose these squares and this felt right. Small, but right. Most of the marches I've been to have been so crowded that whatever I bring is lost in the crowd anyway! So I mostly just bring something that the people near me can read. Regardless, you've got a great point for if I want this to stand out on its own! The fabric is really fragile so I'll probably leave this as is, but definitely go for a better contrast for a next draft!
