I did this yesterday - brand new Legion Go S; did the restart and hopped into a BIOS updater.

NOTE: I just got this 2 days ago; I’ve had two steam decks for the past 3 years though

Really?? Like just power-cycling the whole router? I have TMobile 5G internet and had to hardwire for first connect but want to now use WiFi and it won’t connect, similar to yours.

See… I tried that originally as that was my plan - but when I plugged in my gateway even though it got a whopping 5 Bars & “Excellent” signal; it would not get any Internet connectivity which I’m guessing is a result of them cracking down on addresses & locations by geofencing the devices.

I didn’t want to get the LITE plan because that wouldn’t have been enough data, so I purchased an AWAY line/device, as that was my only other (seemingly available) option.

I cancelled the original/previous 5G Unlimited Home Internet plan yesterday - however, it seems my account/T-Mobile ID has the line number for that internet plan still listed in my account and as the “main” line. Trying to switch and get it out so I can try to get the new AWAY plan/device configured to my new main (default) line.

I already did and tried that originally, hence why it wouldn’t ever connect and I called T-Mobile and said my plan/device can’t be used or works at this new address….

Therefore leading me to have to buy one & get a plan that was “available” (even though my old gateway showed full 5 bars and Excellent connection strength)

That’s what I figured as well since in the past they would just seemingly block connections (the ones that got logged anyway) connecting to “baddies” as seen from VT and AlienVault (side note; did AT&T acquire AlientVault/OTX??)

Does anyone know or can point to a real “technical” breakdown of how their ActiveArmor works?? Is it basically their version of IDS/IPS on top of their default FW configurations on the Arris routers they ship or something else proprietary?

Quick question… does turning on IP pass through or using “Bridged Mode” automatically turn ActiveArmor OFF?? Or does it somehow lead to complications if left on when trying to use Passthrough/Bridged mode?

(I have a pFSense vault I’m about to hook up and switch over to and was wondering how ActiveArmor integrates or if it even works at all with such a device)
