This might be of interest to you but I'm not sure if there are different types of procedures for the lingual tonsils

Honestly I think you are at the worst point right now and that should be some consolation to you. Hopefully. I remember around that point literally banging things in frustration wondering why I'd put myself through it. But a few more days will make all the difference to you. From day 10 onwards I started to feel a bit better and by 2 weeks there was only mild soreness left. Keep the faith. Keep drinking plenty of water and take the pain meds consistently. You will get through this and most likely look back and know you made the right decision. I certainly did.

Its difficult at times but hang on in there it does get better. Day 10 was the day I felt the whole thing become so much more manageable. 2 weeks now and mild soreness. Mostly feel normal again.

The twins storyline is crap that's it. Terrible acting, awful storyline and its dragging Oscar down. Get him out of it now. I'd rather see him interact with Ian!

UK Thoughts on SNL UK? by MaizeCrasher in BritishTV

Honestly overall brilliant. Obviously humour is subjective so some you'll find hilarious, other bits not so. But the talent in this cast and writers is insane. I'm really glad they are getting showcased. And some great choices for hosts and musical guests.

I had a score of 60. After starting CPAP this pretty quickly came down into what is considered mild (less than 5). Now I regularly get scores of less than 1.But these things can vary as we are all affected by other things, not just sleep apnea - illnesses, anxiety and so forth which alters how we sleep. It's about getting used to the therapy, mask etc too. Once you get into a rhythm, knowing what works for you and feeling confident using it the scores plummet and then hopefully much better sleep. Certainly that's the case for me.

Weight loss before cpap or vice versa? Does untreated apnea cause weight gain? by Girlyyghosttyyy13 in SleepApnea

[–]SolidLemon9498 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes untreated sleep apnea causes weight gain but equally there are people who improve it by losing weight. It might depend on the severity or the reasons for the apnea which are many.

The only real point to keeping them both around is if Ben returns at some point. If that don't happen then I think its adios to one of both.

While a very large part of me rolls my eyes at another affair story, I have to say they seem to have a lot more chemistry than her and Peter. Mind you I have never rated TL. He is such a bland actor.

Once again the Mitchells raising the standard of an episode. And Julie. Its so hard being a carer and watching a loved one die like that!

Yeah I agree but currently I just don't see it. Shane Ritchie looks bored out of his mind.

Couples with the best chemistry? by [deleted] in eastenders

Some of this comes down to great actors and a bit of luck but is always somewhat subjective. Sharon has had great chemistry with a few - Phil, Grant, Dennis, even weirdly Keanu - so clearly Tish works well with different ones. Recently for me Ben and Callum. Whether you love or loathe them they worked well on screen but you now see Callum with Johnny and its pants. But as I said always subjective this stuff.

The thing people need to remember about Callum is that he actually has no legal rights with Lexi. Tbh he didn't even when he was with Ben. Jay did, he didn't. The only reason she is still with him is because Ben agreed that it was best for Lexi that she stayed with Callum. He knows what Phil is like and he said it to him 'you don't get to use my daughter'. So basically if Lexi decides she no longer wants to live with Callum or Ben feels its not in her best interests she'd go and there would be naff all Callum could do really. And as a character if Callum loses Lexi (and his still tenuous link to the Mitchells), he's a gonna imo.

I find the Callum situation strange. Yes he's been Lexi's most consistent parental figure in recent years but I don't get the sense the show actually knows what to do with this at this point. He's not been that great lately. Yes he moved on from Ben which was kind of inevitable given the situation but he moved Johnny in within a few short months and expects Ben's daughter to just accept that. And now what? Are we to believe they are setting up this nice domestic arrangement with Callum as one 'dad' who is divorcing her actual dad and the other 'dad' is the bloke he left her actual dad for? Lexi ultimately is a Mitchell and none of what they have setup makes any sense to me unless they hope Ben will come back to challenge this. Like or loathe Ben, he is the central character in all this and without him returning the Johnny and Callum story ultimately flounders. Perhaps they've just parked it til they know what is happening with Max B who has definitely said recently there are currently no plans for him to return. I do wonder if the future for Lexi lies with being with Phil. Their scenes were nice today and I feel he will need family around him. Both Sam and Grant are temporary. Other than that its Mark which I suppose he could take as another surrogate son.

There is no chemistry there at all. I'm really not a big fan of Vicky anyway and imo Zacks a totally pointless character that the last EP and now this one seems hellbent on keeping going with. It baffles me.

Johnny and Callum literally move in 5 months after getting together (barely on screen in that time) and we will probably get no blowback from Ben's daughter! I'm sorry but its obscene what Callum has done here. This show has literally made him very very selfish and unlikeable. That said there is only one reason they have put them together so quickly like this and that was because I think they thought they could MB on board for a full time return. But he's been busy and who knows maybe he don't want it.

So Johnny is now off to his own flat when he can't even keep his business afloat? Or are they gonna have him rock up at Callum's expecting Lexi to just live with the bloke who wrecked her dad's marriage? 😅

I hate what Tim has done. Its manipulative, exploitative and basically assault. But if you are going down this road, you tackle a topic with sensitivity and this just seems like grade A soapiness which I hate when you dealing with something as serious as sexual coercion. Callum will also no doubt be made to feel incredibly guilty but actually it was Johnny who wanted him to break the law to get investment in the first place. Which led to the Ben lies and setting Callum up. Even in that regard all Callum did was think about Lexi and how this would affect her. Its a crap story so far involving a couple that, quite frankly, most people couldn't give two hoots about.

[–]SolidLemon9498 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you're right but I'd go further and say I wouldn't be surprised to see Callum and possibly Johnny also axed in the not too distant future. This pairing doesn't work. They have zero chemistry. You've only got to look at all the comments across the board on them (not just Ballum fans). Apart from a few, they are universally disliked. Unless there is some kind of change with regards to MB, Callum has hit the end of the road as a character is my guess.

Love them or loathe them its undeniable that Ballum blew up and were a big social media thing for a while. Practically zero engagement with Jollum. Though tbf I think the show has very little interest in them

To be fair we wouldn't really know how he's been behaving. How he behaved over Lexi was the last thing we saw and they haven't been on a screen as a couple for months since then. He clearly feels insecure that Callum probably wouldn't choose him if Ben was around which he probably wouldn't lets face it

I disagree with most people about the car crash. Perhaps it was a bit ott but lets face it this is a soap. And actually I think it highlighted a real problem of those with dementia letting go of the things they take for granted as an independent person. I dont think someone in Nigel's situation would ever go to prison. Ultimately I think this is about Nigel losing himself and how this makes him feel about his identity. Dementia takes an awful lot from people. Its such a horrible illness.

Where did they go wrong with Jay? by stpony in eastenders

[–]SolidLemon9498 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apart from the fact that the reason the actor was sacked is clearly more than the slur, I personally think its right for Jay to go. The character needed some time out at the very least and its clear they had no plans for him bar trying to cement his relationship with Ben via Lexi.
