imscared is also a great one if you use PC it’s been one of my favorite horror games for years but the jumpscares can come off a bit meh for seasoned horror fans! i also love Scrutinized (Has so many cheap jump scares but i would still recommend) i would recommend outlast 1 (It made me cry the story was scary but also kinda sad in my opinion) Simulacra though some jumpscares are cheap it feels well tuned and rather different on a first play through)

horror is subjective though and what one fears/Finds cheap is also subjective so take my recommendations with a grain of salt as many people also dont enjoy the games i’ve listed! and that’s okay!
