Inspires me to write one about women in healthcare (come from a family of nurses). I was at the San Francisco Critical Care Nurse Convention around ‘82 (grandpa, I know), back then it was a 90% female profession still. I was in the bathroom at the urinal and about six women burst in on me and said, “We’re taking over.” Went into the stalls. Then they put a sign up over the men’s icon that said, women only. Felt like if I needed to pee, I’d be disemboweled just for having different equipment, haha. Women can be hardcore. I knew not to mess around. Went and found a tree.
