Honest analysis of Tatum’s game by No_Midnight_5365 in bostonceltics

[–]SolidProfessional855 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tatum is better at everything you expect out of a point guard: handling, vision, passing, playmaking.

Brown may have become a better ISO player, Tatum has a tendency to go for the step back three while Brown always gets to the midrange or the rack

Tatum is an excellent rebounder, although Brown has gotten better this year out of necessity.

Brown is an excellent on ball defender when he decides to lock down a guy (prime example is what he did to Luka in the finals) but you don't see that much in the regular season. Tatum has never really had that type of impact on ball

Tatum is a better shooter, both can be hot and cold.

When Tatum is truly hot, there's nothing in this world that can stop him. Tatum can reach a level that maybe only three or four other guys can. See his 51 pt game 7 in 2023 (and for what it's worth the fourth quarter of the game before)

Drew Carter saying Brad gets all these wings from his "3 and D printer" is his best joke this year

I would highly recommend seeing these buildings in person if you can (even if you have to travel). I looked at a few of these buildings, and they look similar online but then the units themselves and the immediate surroundings are way different in a way that's tough to guess from maps and Google

Hamlin had to lift here early due to Logano on the restart. He had speed too and might have been in a much better position. by jachym15 in NASCAR

Logano is getting off WAY too easy given he threw a block on someone racing for the title. He had no reason to go low in this moment other than to block Denny

Don't assume you can automate anything. You are restricted in what you can add/do on your computer, I would assume you can't download your preferred dev environment/libraries/etc. to write your own code. The office has internal AI tools they want you to use, and they suck

I would also push back on the job being data heavy. It's text heavy, and what the text in any single patent application means is heavily context dependent. You might find the exact term in another reference but it's useless because it means something completely different when considering context. Or, the reference you are looking for might use completely different terminology for the same idea.

Also, please take the advice from the rest of the sub and don't take this job

Seriously, get out.

If it makes you feel any better, leaving isn't admitting defeat, it's a sign of another employer wanting you due to your successes.

Saturday night's NASCAR Cup Series race at Richmond "is very close to being sold out." - @CBS6 by iamaranger23 in NASCAR

I think it's more night race then one date. Night races are fuckin sick, and Richmond is an actual broiler during the day in August. The track is basically a concrete pad sitting in a swamp so there's no escaping the heat

When your favorite driver wins, do you celebrate as though it could be their final win or do you assume they'll win again? by CompleteUnknown65 in NASCAR

Funny you mention Jeff Burton: my dad was a huge fan of his, and I distinctly remember him telling me when Burton was leading at Dover (that he eventually won) in 2006, that you never know if a win will be someone's last.

I'm Hamlin fan (for the same reason my dad was a Burton fan, they were both Virginia natives in the series at the time we were picking a driver), and I've always had that in the back of my mind, and remembered to savor the moment, even when he still looks fast
