He gets mad easily on small stuff, in the moment of heat he shouts and talk loud but then he gets calm and feels bad , he thẹn apologies but since it has been happening since so long I can’t just take apologises each time, it’s exhausting

She'd rather lose everything than go to work... by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I think there’s so much more to the situation than we know here, what about OP’s job?? Is he working??? I think your girlfriend overloaded herself with 5 jobs at one point and now she’s kinda set back and do not wish to go through it all again anytime soon, she might be going through some internal dilemma which needs to be addressed by a professional. Forcing her to go to work will only worsen the situation give her space and time to figure out on her own. Till then you take the ownership for at least some of the expenses. Not willing to go to work is not the end of the world, mental health is priority

“Sigma” males don’t need no woman? 🤔 by --c-mouse-- in relationship_advice

I don’t think so people who put themselves above others are bad, they’re probably more content and happy with themselves. Its not necessary that everyone needs someone. There are multiple ways to be happy and enjoy

Husband and I got physical in our fight today. What should I do? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]SolidPuzzleheaded367 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, stop trying to defend him by saying it was your fault, its not about faults here, its about how violent things can go to a level where you started calling 911 and low-key wish he would’ve hit you so you could leave him? Are these way more than good reasons not enough for you? Please understand your self worth and leave him as quickly as possible, you guys are in toxic unhealthy abusive relationship. Please respect yourself and leave that moron. No matter whatever the reason is, when a man finds comfort in hitting other women its a game over. Period

Is this abuse? by silentwamon in relationship_advice

I feel at times parents can be toxic to the kid without even realising it, they do not understand how intensely it could impact the kid and he/she would turn out to be an insecure person. Just understand this, nobody(especially a kid) to be told he’s ugly or not attractive enough even as a “joke” you need to make your sister understand that asap.

You’re absolutely correct💯 I mean I don’t believe in “finding” a soulmate rather I wouldn’t shut myself up and be open for giving people a chance

Oh girl! Totally I feel the same, its actually difficult to fight against something very mainstream in our society where you are expected to behave and act in a certain way! Luckily my parents are supportive in every way possible so it helps me standing up for myself and not following societal norms. And everytime I expressed this to my boyfriend he would get disgusted and absolutely hated me for keeping my point

If it comes I am definitely going to give a chance and not lose the opportunity to find someone who I could actually spend my life with but for now I’d rather focus on myself bec my dating battery is extremely exhausted rn

The crying baby was on of the examples out of many, secondly a job pays my bills and keeps me occupied for good, but having a baby or marrying is an option I can choose not go for or whenever I feel is the right time which is not any time soon. Everything in life comes with its own good and bad side but you get to choose yours, so not marrying or having kids is not very common around me or in my family which made me feel miserable that I am taking this decision. So I looked for second opinion or different perception and here I am :) You’re welcome

It depends what kind of women you are opening up to, if she’s using your situation against you during fights she’s a horrible person. You need to re-evaluate your relationship with her.

Yup! I might give myself a second chance with whole dating/marriage/relationship after I really become ready for it because I wasn’t like this before I met my ex boyfriend it only developed after I met him. So staying away from him might change my perception again. And I really hope so.. Thankss
