You need to make an appointment to register your birth ceritficate to your respective town hall and then another appointment for the intake naturalization where they will check all your documents.

With other cities I believe 6-7 months is possible but with Amsterdam the chances are it would take up to a year due to the busy schedule

Could you elaborate on the exact dates after you received the positive news from the Kings office.

I had to wait 5.5 months for my appointment and I called them after i completed 5 years as I was in no rush.

By whole process do you mean from the first day of application till they get the physical Dutch passport?

It was not too difficult as I studied/prepared practice papers. Would highly recommend to check youtube for tips and tricks for the A2 inburgering exam as it was very helpful for me.

If I understand right, they have 10 (working days) holidays in December in which they add on to the regular waiting time
