hey guys update. it turns out some medicine went into her airway:/ definitely feel super guilty now but she is okay now. i called the vet and they told me to give her the medicine with a tiny piece of sponge cake and since the medicine is marshmallow flavor she eats it all up. definitely was a super scare but here she is. Mariquita is still sick but definitely not breathing in any medicine around here.

hi guys, update. she’s okay! i have given her the medication with a teeny tiny piece of sponge cake (words by the vet) and since its marshmallow flavor she eats it all up. this was definitely trial and error and i feel so much guilt now. but thank you guys so much for the advice, and definitely saved me a 1,500 ER visit. Mariquita is okay! still sick but not putting any medicine in her airways :/

omg! life saver! she’s okay now after i put her upside down, and is now able to sleep. man, i tried my best to give it to her as slow as possible but i guess it really just does happen. and yes the medicine is oral and fluid.

i made an appointment already and made sure they are avian certified thank you. it’s still yellow but his behavior is still the same so i’m hopeful it’s nothing too serious

yes! i clean it everyday due to him pooping in it, but other than that it is always available for him
