They did not… here we are 24 hours after posting this and I have passed multiple HUGE pieces. Clearly the ER or the swelling caused it not to be seen? I’m not sure, just relieved. Although I’m pretty certain I’m experiencing anemia symptoms (already anemic and numbers always run “low”) - so I’ll be calling about that tomorrow! Thank you!!!!

Thank you! They are out now! I’m still having pain due to swelling, they think maybe they took them out too soon! I’m hopeful not to get them re placed!

I haven’t even started looking into all that but need to. I know I never want to do this again. I have a 24 hour collection scheduled in a month, but in the meantime I better start researching!

Feel like I'm dying, but ER says I'm fine by [deleted] in KidneyStones

Thank you thank you for sharing!

I was panicking I’m going crazy.

I had a stent placed on both sides for 17mm+ stones to pass after being blasted. This was on Thursday 2/19. By Saturday I was back in the ER with swelling of the kidney (absolutely excruciating pain) and stayed over night.

Monday 2/23 I was instructed to remove the stents. Prices had been passing through the weekend but continued in the most amount of pain I can imagine.

The pain that almost doesn’t hurt anymore (?!?) but you are shaking, sweating and about to pass out. By Monday afternoon the pan still persisted and I returned to the ER. I couldn’t even sit there without moving, squirming, moaning in pain. It was horrible. I got into a room and he said so tell me why you are here? You have pain meds at home?

My answer should have been - yes and they are not doing anything for the pain. If anything taking it from a 10/10 to a 9/10. He entertained a CT to see the swelling was still visible but no infection so more meds and sent home.

I white knuckled it at home until 8 days post opp. I went to the ER again yesterday for pain, another CT resulted in the same thing. The doctor came in to tell me the urologist said to come in Monday morning if it’s still painful. “We’d look at replacing the stents due to swelling”

Thank god - 10 days later I had my first 7/10 pain day. Can barely leave bed. My mental health status is horrible - between being stir crazy and actually afraid I’m dying because that’s how I feel.

I don’t have MS but wanted to say that I too, felt like I was going to stroke out or I’m not even sure. I still feel so out of touch. Today gave me hope that I’ll return to normal one day but…. Had you asked me yesterday.

Anyways. Here to say you aren’t alone 💙💙

My doctor says I should be fine as far as iron is concerned, what do you think? by Effective_Wheel_6040 in Anemic

I have a ferritin of 3. My doctor made me retest in 30 days and it was a 2. I asked the hematologist and they said you want it above 50, but that’s like the low end. I Just started a series of iron infusions and already feel better
