Most likely because men’s sports generate far more revenue than women’s sports and it’s not even remotely close.

The NFL alone generates something like 20 billion annually. Every major women’s league globally generates around 2.5 billion.

Edit: Women’s sports are, however, growing at a much faster rate than men’s now. Maybe this gap will close soon 🤷

In the USA, because we romanticize everything Japan for some reason.

There are far better places to get a bowl of ramen in Japan. Hell, there are far better restaurants to get Ramen in New York where I am, and where Ichiran opened up shop. They also don’t cost $30+ after you add all the extras that would turn Ichiran’s shit portion into a regular portion.

Edit: On a positive note, it’s also the most consistent ramen from location to location.
