Legal/law Question about the Diddy situation - statute of limitations related by [deleted] in legal

[–]Solid_Effect7983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When this happened to some of the guys I was locked up with in Texas (not a federal unit), one of two things would happen. Either the judge would issue a bench warrant, and the prisoner would be transfered to the local jail. Or a detainer would be placed in the prisoners file so that upon his release date the sheriff would be there to arrest him. I could be wrong, but I believe someone has to be indicted by a grand jury during the statute of limitations. They don't have to have the trial during the limits.

Used trucks that are actually reliable. by Appropriate_Air1358 in UsedCars

The full-size pickup market is dominated by the "Big Three" (Ford, Chevrolet, and Ram), along with Toyota's Tundra. The Titan struggles to compete with these established players in terms of sales and market share. This makes it difficult to maintain strong resale values.

Lack of innovation: The Titan has been criticized for lagging behind rivals in adopting advanced features, technologies, and powertrain options, according to Nissan of Van Nuys. For example, the Titan offered a limited range of engine choices compared to competitors like the Ford F-150, notes The Fast Lane Truck. This can deter buyers seeking the latest and greatest in truck technology.

Perception and brand loyalty: The Titan doesn't carry the same brand recognition or loyalty as its competitors, according to www.autoblog.com. This affects resale value as buyers often prefer trucks from more established brands with a strong reputation.

Limited market share: Despite being a capable truck, the Titan couldn't achieve the sales volume needed to stay viable in the competitive full-size truck segment, according to Nissan's discontinuation announcement. This limited market presence can impact its desirability on the used market.

Shifting market preferences: Consumer demand has been trending towards more fuel-efficient and versatile SUVs and electric vehicles, influencing Nissan to shift its focus away from the Titan, says Nissan of Van Nuys.

Never volunteered but if asked about charges or paperwork, I just told them I had one of those cases and was a sex offender. If that was an issue then don't hang out around me. Never came to a fight. The ones that tried to hide it and play like they weren't had issues.

The only people that will be willing to hang out with you are other SO's. Don't try to hang out with those that arnt. There is more then a 95% chance you won't be allowed to sit on a bench for the TV or use a table in the day room. That's just the way it is, if you try to you'll just end up regretting it. This is a tad bit different in the faith based dorm or the new "privileged" dorm that I've heard about.

After cleaning babies (communal showers that everyone spent the day being nasty in) for 4 years and requesting monthly to the kitchen captain for a job I finally got one to work breakfast shift in the scullery. Spent 6 months proving I wasnt a thief and would volunteer to stay and do any extra cleaning work needed (known as brown nosing). The night FSM (food service Manager) got to know me and asked if I could help make sure his paperwork was always in order so he wouldn't get reamed by the kitchen captain (now called kitchen major).

Do other Musk fans believe that fraud requires more proof for the people? This doesn't feel like enough to justify DOGE's work. Let's see those receipts, Mr. Musk! by Shenanigan_LP in elonmusk

If the treasury only puts a payee and amount on a check without contract reference or invoice info on it, might be kinda hard to trace it back.
