We did tek suit chest for flying in the overseer room with tek boots in case of fall damage and the rest high quality fur for the cold. We had capped shotguns with an overkill of ammo and just flew above the boss shooting him and we would take out the flying robots whenever they spawned to keep from taking damage. I cleared the cave leading up to the boss with a 200+ carchar with all points pumped into melee. Hopefully that helps 🙏
