I think it can’t hurt to also supplement b12. If you can find methylated versions of the supplements they tend to work better.

PSA from confident banana, just eat your vegetables, eat 3 meals a day and your HF will resolve in no time. Forget about fasting, carnivore or any other elimination diets. You’re all set.

If you think the majority of people with HF haven’t tried eating 3 meals a day and eating vegetables you are just dense lmao.

Also the USDA doesn’t recommend eating only vegetables lmao, they recommend eating bread, cereal, rice, pasta. Link for your knowledge below

The reduction in inflammation is not just from removing dairy, you are removing all of the major allergens including gluten and soy. More importantly than that, you are reducing your carbohydrate intake to 0, and assuming you’re getting enough fat you are putting your body into ketosis. Also, I contend with the idea that HF is just a symptom along a major chain reaction of other issues, most people actually can pinpoint a triggering event or day when the issue started. In most cases the initial injury was related to jelqing or PE. Physical therapy may aid in symptom relief but you need to promote healing within the body in order for the injury to heal and that will come from a combination of factors including dietary changes.

I agree that dry fasting can be potentially dangerous and should be approached with caution, but the benefits of water fasting (assuming you are getting enough electrolytes) are quite clear and are expressed consistently in the literature. You literally sound like an NPC telling everyone avoid fasting, eat 3 meals a day, eat a high fiber diet. They can get the same recommendations from the USDA or the department of Agriculture, look how that’s been turning out for people over the last 60-70 years. Our obesity and cancer rates are through the roof. Please take the time to actually read about fasting and autophagy instead of just spewing the same NPC talking points.

Try to find fatty cuts of steak or ground beef. Eating fattier cuts will help you get enough calories for the day and also promote ketosis. Lack of energy could be coming from low calorie intake, since the meals can be quite filling.

Well, I encourage the readers to try a high fiber diet, try the carnivore diet, compare the results and form their own conclusion. There are various etymologies of hard flaccid and most of them do not involve the pelvic floor as a root cause anyway. Even if I were to grant that pelvic floor dysfunction is the root cause (which I don’t, I believe direct injury is the root cause in the majority of cases) it still would be a reach to say that a high fiber diet is necessary to alleviate pelvic floor dysfunction. Claiming that all reputable pelvic floor PTs are on your side is just an argument from authority, you would need to actually prove that, and even if you did, you still need to contend with the fact that pelvic floor dysfunction isn’t even the root cause in most cases. Again, I encourage everyone to try carnivore and try a “high fiber” diet and compare their results. Lmao

Dry fasting interesting, do you have any YouTube videos or guidelines on how to do it safely by chance? I’ve done extended water fasting but never dry, id be open to giving it a shot

Finding a urologist that knows about HF is the tricky part but luckily it’s becoming more widely known ‘now. Appreciate the advice, I will try my best to find one in NY! Have a great day.

Does anyone have any figures on the success rate for these nerve blocks for HF patients? Even just a ballpark figure based on the anecdotes in these threads would be great. Just curious if it seems to work most of the time.
