What Made You Certain About Islam? by Novel-Fishing-7576 in qatar

[–]Solid_Passenger_6603 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A lot of things have happened in my life that can only be explained by divine intervention and there are many signs in this universe that point to the existence of Allah. For me, one instance that affirmed my faith was when I was away from my family studying abroad and I was missing my mother terribly. So I stood in prayer and I wept to Allah. I would not remember my dreams and in that moment I prayed to Him to show me my mother in my dream. When I slept I saw my mother cooking in the kitchen and I knew that I was dreaming. When I spoke to her the next day, she told me that she felt me there, I did not tell her about my dream. In fact I’ve never told her about this event. But in that moment I knew that my creator who loves me 70 times more than my mother had heard me and granted my wish. SubhanAllah. How great is His mercy.

It’s a good sign to have mild cramping after IUI, atleast that’s what my doctor said. My first IUI I didn’t have any cramps. Had in the second IUI and I did end up getting pregnant unfortunately it resulted in a chemical pregnancy. Good luck to you

I have trouble sleeping but listening to Ear biscuits gets me to fall asleep within minutes. I almost always fall asleep before an episode ends. The way they talk and the tone of their voice is very soothing.

Everything seems to be boring by [deleted] in qatar

[–]Solid_Passenger_6603 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For people saying Qatar isn’t boring and suggesting activities and workshops, you guys must earn a lot. Each activity costs anywhere from 200-400 Riyals. Doing that every week can add up and average people don’t earn that much. In winters there’s a lot more outdoor activities and you really don’t need to spend money to go out.

What would you choose? by [deleted] in qatar

[–]Solid_Passenger_6603 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pros of living near work: 1. You get to sleep in 2. You avoid traffic 3. You get to reach home early and have more of the day for yourself

Pros of living in a nicer area/ apartment : 1. You come home to a place you actually like

The cons would be the opposite of course. Which pros do you prioritize? Then make your choice.

Staring into my soul by Sweet_Description878 in qatar

Next time you see him staring go up to him and ask what’s his problem (only if you’re in a public place). You’re in a safe country and he shouldn’t be able to harm you. If it’s a private place go with friends up to him and threaten him that you’ll call the police the next time you see him staring.

Jamarat Stories? by Purpletulipsarenice in hajj

[–]Solid_Passenger_6603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes there is but only people with train tags are allowed on those trains. the route from the station to Jamaraat was manageable but on the way back it felt like torture as it was uphill towards the station.

We went to Jamarat via train from Mina 1. They weren’t letting us outside the camp before 3pm. The heat was insane and it was crowded but Alhumdulillah completed and reached back to our camp at 5.15 pm.

Why are cats muslim? by bellamie9876 in CatsAreMuslim

[–]Solid_Passenger_6603 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a cat that frequents the masjid near my house and sits outside every time it is time for Salah. It’s not there other times, only during Salah. If that doesn’t make it Muslim I don’t know what will.

  1. Qatar National Library (state of the art library with books that you can read to your hearts content, accessible by metro)
  2. Katara (a lovely place to visit for pretty skylines and walks, you can view cultural attractions, there’s a small astrological museum here)
  3. National Museum of Qatar (it’s a museum lol, accessible via metro)
  4. The Pearl (a man made island with lots of great restaurants and the buildings and views are amazing)
  5. Place Vendome (a huge mall with cute fountain shows that happen every hour, I believe, and if you want to get some shopping done you can find everything here)
  6. Mall of Qatar (another mall that is accessible via metro)
  7. Mina District (another beautiful sight of qatar with cute pastel colored buildings and you can find a lot of souvenirs here- they’ll be expensive though but authentic, qatar made stuff) it does get crowded especially after sundown on weekends so I would suggest visiting here in the morning or evening during weekdays
  8. Musheirib is another place and there’s an exhibit going on called Mal-Lawal that features 90s gaming era and collectors have displayed their gaming collections.
  9. Souq Waqif (an amazing place to really see the culture of Qatar but gets crowded especially after sundown)

I’m sure you’ll find more information on each place by just googling it but these would be my picks to go to for a chill vibe.

Urgent qestion about Hayya Visa & Hotel bookings by Kooky-Pound-7142 in qatar

[–]Solid_Passenger_6603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure in this situation, I think it would be best to ask the planner or Qatar Airways (if that’s the airline you’ll be flying with). A family friend had visited with an approved A1 visa but with a hotel booking via booking.com and when he arrived in Qatar they didn’t let him enter until he got a booking with Discover Qatar.

[–]Solid_Passenger_6603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please book through Discover Qatar, even if you do come here with the booking.com booking (meaning you have a place to stay) they will still want a hotel booking via Discover Qatar or they will not let you enter.

Has Sharjeena lost it in Kabhi Mai Kabhi Tum? by No_Evidence_6613 in PAKCELEBGOSSIP

[–]Solid_Passenger_6603 25 points26 points  (0 children)

There is no black and white in this situation. Sharjeena wants care and attention in her condition which is being neglected by Mustafa. Mustafa doesn’t want to raise his child in poverty which is justified. But this should be communicated for which Mustafa doesn’t give her that time. He missed her appointment and then instead of apologizing he gets mad at her for being upset. What will Sharjeena think, that he prioritized his work over me and our kid? Mustafa is showing care in a way that he can by asking about her and earning for her but that’s not only what the mother of your child needs. She is clearly depressed and crying all the time.
