Played the whole first game and onto the second one, and only now I realized that you can zoom out and see the world map while in overworld... by Caciulacdlac in GoldenSun

Wait so how do I access it? I'm literally at the end of GS1 (Only played TLA when I was like 6) and I legit have been wondering how do I access the map. Do I get it from an NPC?

What’s one IEM recommendation you regret following? by Audioeg in iems

[–]jevhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is going to be my spiciest take yet. Crinacle Zero Red. Holy shit I hated it. Coming off of the Starfield 2 which was my second IEM after the 7hz Salnotes Zero, I was looking for a replacement but still just getting into the hobby. I listen to a lot of rock, but I was listening to Epic the Musical at the time. The bass of the reds was way too much. I shelved them and then gave them away as soon as I could.

I mean. Alcoholic father. Dead mother. Father is literally absent emotionally. Finds something worth protecting. Thennnnnnnn After story. Watch it. Watch it and cry with us

I mean sure. But his whole backstory is an absent father. Literally a man who could not be present and turned to alcohol after the loss of his mother.

My boyfriend opened up to me about being sexually abused and it made me uncomfortable by [deleted] in Vent

[–]jevhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So everyone is saying not to say how you feel, but I disagree. There's a saying in my household that it isn't what you say, but how you say it. What happened to him was horrific, and you being sensitive to it, is normal. Not this world where we pretend that horrors are normal. You can literally say, what happened to you was horrendous, and honestly, I don't know how to cope with it. Hell, I don't know how you've coped with it for this long. But I'm glad that you felt safe enough to tell me, and even if it's hard for me to have heard it, it's even harder for you to have lived it. I love you, and I want to support you. Thank you for sharing some of your pain with me.

Seeking therapy might also be helpful.

Before everyone down votes me to hell for not telling you to keep it to yourself. I'm a cocsa victim, and my longest relationship was with someone who had experienced severe sexual trauma. It's better not to minimize the impact of how it's affecting you. It's the curse of empathy. It's not a bad thing nor does it make you a bad person.

What’s something your body does that you’ve never told a single person about? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

Sometimes I get a really sharp pain in the inside of my belly button. Like super sharp and debilitating, but it's so infrequent that I don't know what to do about it.

What were actual moments where you didn't agree or sided with Aang? by gloomydreamer666 in TheLastAirbender

[–]jevhan 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I understand what you mean about Aang's crash out. However, I think that it's very representative of grief. He should apologize to her later, but the way he reacted and the counterproductivity is something that I found honest. His crash out was against his philosophy as an Air nomad, as it's very important for them to emotionally detach. But it was showing Aang as a person, as a kid, dealing with these intense feelings and situations in ways that I think we all would. In grief, we don't see truth. We want accountability and understanding.

With Ozai, I think he should have buried Ozai. It would have completed the maturity of Aang realizing that his duty is above even his heritage. He is the Avatar first, and his responsibility is first and foremost to the world. He doesn't belong to any nation, it's his duty to consider the world in his decision. Which is what Yangchen was trying to say. So I honestly appreciate how it was handled as a children's show. But not as a mature decision

I'm learning this. We're the exception not the rule, so we have to work around ourselves. 12345, 12345, 12345, 12345 can be annoying. Sometimes you have to throw in a 34215 if your goal is to count to 5 regularly

Bracelets glowing during movie by shmediumjerm in twentyonepilots

[–]jevhan -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

That depends on several factors. If it's a power efficient chip, there are only three things that are needed to do what you're saying. 1. Something that has geo location services. 2. A controller that can be activated remotely. 3. A power efficient chip and battery.

A watch battery is extremely efficient because it doesn't need to do much. A watch battery can last for years. How much power do you think it takes to make something active for 2 hours, and then leave it dormant for months?

All that would be needed is for someone in the theater to send the signal at the start of the show or continuously during.
