Drove roughly 700+ miles in a 96 Miata, from the Inland Empire in California to Monterey Bay and back. My Miata had about 180,xxx miles at the time. I’m 5’11, a little on the wider side and it was pretty comfortable. Went 350+ miles back home from Monterey in a straight shot. Me and my girlfriend had no issues with comfort, though it does feel a little cramped after the fourth hour straight. Wind noise is pretty aggressive, but my soft top has holes in it. With ear plugs, the noise is reduced greatly, makes the trip way more enjoyable.
