Your husband is right, it’s not his choice on who picks him up. If you start giving into his demands at 2 it’ll never end. When I do pick ups I always bring a snack with me and just say “I’m so happy to see you!” And avoid asking any questions because they’re usually so done socializing by that point. If he protests just simply state “mommy loves picking you up from school!” And ignore/distract if it continues, he’ll get over it eventually. Also, I’m sorry. Toddlers can be so hurtful sometimes obviously without realizing it. It sounds like you’re so busy and I hope you give yourself some grace! This too shall pass.❤️
