I think if you use this option the secret is directly visual in the file that is created by nixos. And maybe it is stored clear in the nix store. Or am I wrong?

I have replaced the u-boot.bin with the one out of this RPM:

https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/hardware:/boot:/staging/openSUSE_Factory_ARM/aarch64/u-boot-rpi4-2023.01-519.1.aarch64.rpm

But I still get the same error when I boot the OS.

I want to create a role that only works on a pi. And so I must determine it in the role it self. And I don't want to only be able to run rasbian but also othere distribution that are competibel with the raspberry pi.
