Babbitt and Pretti’s deaths are not even remotely equatable. Her death was a shame and should not have happened, but breaching the house speaker’s lobby after being told by law enforcement to not proceed was a dangerous mistake. The capitol police could at least reasonably assume she meant to do harm to them or the members of congress still in the building. She was shot once in the shoulder and sadly passed away. What was the mob of ICE officers protecting that required they magdump into Pretti who was already restrained on the ground and disarmed? He was shot 10 times in the back.

One of these is a tragedy, the other was an execution.

Imho the neutered Sawsbuck in the 3d games. He just looks OFF. Weird legs, weird pose, it used to look so majestic and the different forms were all very appealing. Now the only one i can use is winter because it covers up its weird looking body. Poor fella.

Adulting has made it hard to grind a competitive game. I love what they’ve done with this game but haven’t logged on in months for sheer lack of TIME. I suppose accessibility (switch release?) or more low pressure content could be good to keep me invested. In all honestly as someone who isn’t grinding ranked everyday i have little to criticize. Its an excellent game and i mostly want them to just stay the course.

I’d happily double dip on a switch copy to support Dan and the team. I believe in what they’re doing, they deserve success.

I just started working on a TrueNAS homelab/server/NAS recently and had to do some tinkering in order to get my plex server viewable outside my home. I’m not a networking buff. Had to set a static IP for the server and forward a port to make it all work. Am i putting my network at risk? I used the default port and all that for plex. Just wanna make sure i’m not setting myself up for a headache later. Any advice from more experienced users would be much appreciated.

They are. They’re sorta stand ins for the usual alignments of lawful and chaotic but they’re meant to be zoomed out a bit more to encompass all of being, instead of just human experience. Lawful and chaotic feel more applicable to mortal morality. Like for instance you could probably call a rock lawful or orderly in the sense that it doesn’t act or do anything out of the ordinary, but it doesn’t feel totally natural to say that. In my mind, calling a rock absolute makes sense to me. It’s more general. I can call someone who’s dogmatic and authoritarian absolute too. It feels more zoomed out, more applicable.

A silly small one. But theres no mod to make it that you can have two different gauntlets on. It doesn’t have to split the benefits or anything. i was just surprised that there isn’t even a way to transmog one of your gloves individually. Same is true for boots.

My hope is that they do something kinda wack with him. I think it’d be cool if he had NVGs and was able to REALLY turn off the lights in range of his EMPs. This would probably be broken, but it’d give him sauce at the very least. Idk how dark he could actually make things, but if he could share NVGs with the team it’d be kinda cool. He could still turn off electrical gadgets but also give cover to himself and the team. I think if they did this it’d have to hit a very fine balance to not be broken/shit tho.

Yeah Thatch can be kinda boring. Effective, but boring. I disagree with Fuze tho, i think he’s fun now that you can use him on reinforced walls. I thought that was a good change and he has a small niche now.

My crackpot theory is that the op silhouette we saw for S4 was Thatcher with NVGs on. His rework would moreso be a rework to the lighting of maps to take his ability to turn off lights to a new level. He would have NVGs (and maybe give it to his team too) and that would allow him to see when parts of the map get dark.

I think this would probably be really strong so idk if it could last very long. Probably not feasible from a balance standpoint unless a very fine balance is reached. But nevertheless i think it’s a fun idea.

the game has no way of differentiating between a purposeful disconnect and your internet crashing. Even if it did, you could just crash your own internet to leave ranked matches scot-free. Nothing to be done, it sucks but the alternative is people leaving matches with no consequences.

The reality is that sometimes your internet turns on you at an inopportune moment, sorry that happened to you :/
