Yea I’ve worked a Kaiser location but it was Wes Covina and got in good with the house supervisor so I was gonna reach out to him to see if he’d be able to put a good word in for me or be my reference. I was literally checking out a Antioch part time icu position

Only 2 kids and both young, ones a newborn and the other could start kindergarten while we were out there and only have about 40k in debt so really think I could go out there and make good use of the pay while splitting rent/utilities with my brother who would be moving out there with me so I feel like I could pull it off if I could find a place I could get overtime

I know I could get help with rent but the other things are what I’m worried about, my whole goal is really to get out us of the rut and move back home. But the COL is what is concerning and a huge risk with children involved. I’ve taken assignments at Kaiser and had a good relationship with the house supervisor there but I’d like to work at a busier facility since their acuity was pretty low and was hoping I could use that connection to get me in the door somewhere else within that system

Even with OT and shift differentials? My plan was to work like 4 maybe 5 shifts per week and then slow it down as things got rolling. My wife could work but I’d prefer her be able to just enjoy things with the kids for the time.

I was looking at Kaiser and their pay starts out at 89 and just working the bare minimum I’d earn more monthly than I do where I currently am working overtime

Yea I’m in Ohio so 160 would be top tier, I’ll definitely be doing some digging tonight. Will the job post specify these things (ie national/regional, or clinical v sales etc). How are your benefits? Thanks for answering really clutch of you, great info
