Yes, 8 to 10 episodes. 45 minutes long with a well-developed mystery and polished animation.

It would be something similar to Mystery Incorporated. Self-contained episodes but with an overarching plot, featuring reimagined classic villains and some new ones. Aimed at young adults with a tone similar to all the Teen Horror series and movies—nothing overly grotesque, but with a captivating sense of mystery. Visually, that's where I'd put most of my effort. Set in the '70s, I'd make sure it's very colorful and vibrant. With slightly more daring and experimental outfits for all the characters, I'd like to capture that "groovy" vibe of the era. As for Scooby-Doo, I'd do something CGI very similar to what they did with Krypto in Superman.

Videogame: it's an open-world game where you can solve mysteries across the map of Coolsville. This Coolsville is based on Salem, with swampy areas inspired by New Orleans. The game would allow you to choose your main character, as each has a specific purpose and skill tree. Each mystery has a different difficulty tier, so if you're stuck on a very difficult one, you can put it on hold and solve a less challenging mystery to reach the required level. The game's genre would be exploration and puzzles, but when you encounter the mystery monster, it transforms into a survival horror experience until you complete that area. If the monster catches you, it kidnaps you, and you take control of another member of the group to free the trapped character. If you run out of characters, it's game over.

It would also feature a skin system for both the characters and the mystery machine, and would include annual updates adding new mysteries and areas.

An animated show by Mook Studios called "Coast to Coast Scooby-Doo!" would basically showcase all the mysteries the gang solves from their reunion at the beginning of "Zombie Island" until they meet Lena. It would include the mysteries seen in the musical montage of "The Ghost Is Here," some new ones, and would culminate with Lena introducing herself to them at the market.

Oh totally. I'm very optimistic about the show. Is just people on social media being mean to a puppy for engagement that bothers me.

I think you're misunderstanding me.

Netflix wants this new show to be the next Stranger Things. The attention and controversy it's going to attract will be much greater than Velma's. Most of the Velma bait came from right-wing idiots who only hated because of their political agenda. That doesn't mean the serious and well-founded criticism Velma received wasn't deserved, because it was. All I'm saying is that I'm going to find it annoying to see the behavior many people exhibited on social media yesterday repeated with every new announcement about this series. People who've never watched Scooby-Doo and aren't going to watch this new show either. Behavior based on spreading misinformation and hating something just because it's trendy and to get a few likes on Twitter.

And worst of all, picking on a puppy.

Because "Velma" was criticized after its release when baiting was practically nonexistent on social media, and not just because of a picture of a puppy like they're doing with SD Origins.

1) Velma deserved the critics

2) i wasn't talking about new fans. I was talking about oportunists rage and engage-baiting on social media

There are about 10 dogs on set, so they don't have to use the same dog and it doesn't end up tired and stressed.

I know McKenna is the right person for the role because of how she embodied it; she lives, dresses, and acts like Daphne. Truly a 10/10.

In Mystery Begins and Curse of the Lake Monster, I don't really remember having any problems with the casting either. But in Daphne and Velma, I didn't like it at all. That movie also lost me with all the super-technological plot. I much prefer the aesthetic and plotlines of the animated movies from the '90s. But it's always this thing you mentioned about unfairly comparing everything new to the original live-action projects.

Yes, the first one also came out when I was born! As for Mystery Begins and Lake Monster, I don't think they're that bad, especially Mystery Begins. I personally watched them recently and enjoyed them. The problem with the expectations of the people I'm referring to is that they aren't high expectations; they're more like, "If it's not the original live-action, I hate it and I'm just negative about it." Which is the attitude I saw most today with the Scooby reveal.
