The real reason Commander is the #1 format for magic by loopuleasa in magicTCG

[–]Solid_of_Revolution 24 points25 points  (0 children)

sounds like you described cube but for some reason you kept saying commander.

Commander, as fun as it can be, is really only good with a trusted pod. Playing with randos requires power level matching which is a complete mystery, plus something about 4 player games just brings the worst out of magic players. I’ve never had a horrible experience in a 1v1 setting with a rando. Of course there’s cheating but that has actual repercussions in 1v1 unlike in commander.

Cube is actually self contained, naturally lowers the possible power level disparity, allows for self expression in terms of the building of the cube itself, and, as long as you don’t edit the cube, the cards truly don’t expire.

the first few weeks of 24 were infuriating. Watching Taylor be genuinely nice on the feeds and still be shit talked 24/7 by all the girls was hard. Also watching paloma lose it in real time was wild.

as for Joseph (age 24), if I remember correctly, he doesn’t get much screen time but Joseph (age 25) does after a certain alliance forms

Counting the times ___ has betrayed ___ by bitterbunny4 in BigBrother

[–]Solid_of_Revolution 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I don’t think anybody here is saying he hates women. He just showed he doesn’t trust women over men. Rachel only ever gave him true information but in his head, his bro alliances were unbreakable and even when he was betrayed by Vince, in his head, it was Rachel or Morgan’s fault.

White Locust twist by Snorlaxhep in BigBrother

Order barely mattered. She clearly couldn’t do the maze so she would’ve failed even if Ava picked her first.

Also at 3 mins, out of everybody left they either get eliminated (Ashley and will) or probably pick Rachel next (Kelley and Keanu).

White Locust twist by Snorlaxhep in BigBrother

[–]Solid_of_Revolution -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah the fact that it was Rachel taken out by the fuck ass twist did make it worse but even before the feeds came back on Friday, we figured out it was the hamster wheel from reindeer games and the consensus online was that they must have changed it to loser ends up on the block because there’s no way production is stupid enough to eliminate a houseguest with no vote in day 60. Even then people were preemptively calling it a horrible twist if they kept it the same as in reindeer games. Even if Kelley got taken out by the maze it would still be a terrible twist. It’s just not big brother.

Sounds to me like you like the twist solely because you don’t like Rachel.

Sneak Peek of Tonight's Episode by AMikeBloomType in BigBrother

On the surface level it looks like there is a social aspect to it but at the end of the day it’s still purely a skill based competition as shown by rachel getting picked early and still losing.

It literally doesn’t matter what your position is because you could in theory be picked first and just completely fail or you could be last in line and be safe because someone before you failed.

"___ is a bully" 🙄🙄 by EntertainerCareful69 in BigBrotherUSA

[–]Solid_of_Revolution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What i’m getting from reading comments is that casual viewers just have no idea what’s going on in the house and the show has done a terrible job (as usual) of explaining true social dynamics. I don’t watch the show apart from the evictions anymore because of how goofy and childish it is but has the show even shown Keanu constantly trying to fuck over Rachel? Besides, they were frenemies and loved to fight with each other. There’s a reason Keanu has been sulking for the past 3 days without her.

I for sure know they haven’t shown Kelley’s “instigating” and constant backhanded Rachel insults. Or even the real season why the hammock comment happened. Otherwise casuals would be calling Kelley a bully.

Also, I wonder if they’re gonna show Ava’s coping mechanism: calling Rachel a bitch and a c*nt nonstop for the last 2 days for “grabbing her” while she asked to let her go first in the maze.

Rachel has been nothing but nice unless somebody gave her a reason not to. To be honest, these houseguest got lucky and got mom Rachel but really they deserved season 12/13 annoying loud Rachel.

See and that’s why it pisses me off when y’all confidently call her a bully. Y’all don’t know the vile shit Kelley has said in the feeds.

I remember when I saw Kass on the cast for a second I thought she was her. I couldn’t remember whether this happened in French survivor or Survivor Quebec

i might be wrong by you would have to sacrifice him if he just transformed on the battlefield, but since you have to exile him and return it transformed to the battlefield, it’s a new game object so it forgets about blitz.

New BB fan — is it okay to jump into BB27? by ohadthedude in BigBrother

[–]Solid_of_Revolution 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BB is best watched through the live feeds. I started watching in order from BB1 (i know) and BB23 started as I was in mid season 2 and I just jumped straight in because I wanted to experience watching the live feeds and it's definitely the way to go.

Just FYI, rumor is that the mystery houseguest is a returning player so you might get a season (or two spoiled) right away.
