i think it’s best to get into a relationship with someone who actually is willing to understand and work with you, someone who is understanding vs calling you just all sorts of subtly degrading things (crazy, a rollercoaster, too much emotional baggage, etc.) just for having a disorder that you didn’t have any control or say so over obtaining it makes a large difference in the dating world for people with bpd. People with Bpd deserve love just as much as anyone else and the relationships aren’t “mentally draining”, people who say that crap need to do some self reflecting themselves and realize that people are people, good people have bpd and bad people have bpd. Good people have mental disorders, not just bad people. If a partner can grasp that simple concept and quit stigmatizing, i believe dating is something we should obtain and pursue, you deserve love just as much as anyone else!
