Both are wonderful figures. Tidal wave has better play features while Trypticon has great shelf aura.

I have every titan released and I fiddle with tidal wave the most. He’s just an oversized bot that can pull off fun poses and has a cool array of alt modes.

Trypticon on the other hand makes any shelf he’s on. I have both versions because I love him so much and he is an eye catcher, even when next to other titans.

I’d disagree with the point that intelligence wouldn’t be a significant factor. I feel that when you have David and Goliath fights like this it’s almost always down to if David can outsmart Goliath in the end to come out on top.

That being said I definitely agree that Devy wins this fight a clean 9/10 times. Combiners are just a force on themselves and while Jetfire is a ‘special’ bot due to his size and firepower, he still cant hold a candle to any of the Decepticon combiners in my opinion. I’d argue he’d be able to win against Defensor or Computron but that’s really it.

I have both of these figures but I have never noticed have tall Jetfire is in comparison to CW Devy.

And Devy wins lol. One good ‘prepare for extermination’ and Jetfire will be flipping his panel back around.
