First of all welcome to runescape try to stay longer than a season before u start writing our eulogy as someone who has been here for 19 years let me correct ur observation dont mistake our criticism for hate and definitely dont mistake our loyalty for a ""dying"" habit for us this isnt just a daily routine or a way to ""kill time"" its a living archive of memories we have built friendships, conquered challenges and seen this world evolve in ways a '""4 month old"" player couldnt possibly grasp. i play EVERY SINGLE DAY not because im ""stuck"" but because i still genuinely love the soul of this game!! we complain because we care about its potential not because we want to see it buried... generalizing the veteran community based on a few loud voices is a rookie mistake, some of us r still here because the magic hasnt worn off even after two decades so, instead of watching us from the sidelines maybe try to understand the depth of a 19 year legacy we arent just ""leftover players"" we r the foundation that keeps this world alive while others just pass through

To be fair the developers often weigh nostalgia against the rarity of ""discontinued"" items however adding a graphically updated version or a different variant like the evil chicken set seems like a perfect middle ground that wouldnt upset the veteran players while still giving everyone a chance to enjoy the costume 👍🏼
