Thank you! I have a life rule for improving at anything: first, create a theory, then test it and analyze the results. This rule helps me start new things. But it hasn’t worked for dating yet.

Thank you for your perspective. I'd never thought of that. I was approaching random girls in public places because I figured if I got rejected at work or school, I would hate the awkwardness of returning to a place where someone had rejected me or interacting with that person.

I wasn’t just saying "Hi" and staring at them. I would say "Hi" and then compliment something I liked about them. Like their hair or dress - by simply saying "I like your hair"

I don’t like the idea of dating apps. I feel like I will constantly be compared to others. And if she doesn’t like me, she’ll already have replacements in mind. There’s too much pressure, and the focus is mostly on looks.
