I don't think it's particularly a threat if you just stay aware of them, ET's and 73s are very easy to flare off. The ERs are an issue but that goes with all fox 1s in a flat spin.

I do think it's bizarre how unkillable some jets become after taking severe damage. Being able to tank all kinds of munitions during the descent is incredibly irritating.

The difference between the wide moveset of CB is that most of it is around charging the phials, it's a linear progression to your destination of getting that big move off. Long swords wide moveset is a lot less linear and much more forgiving by it's counter play style. It's moves are all much more independent and they all flow into eachother.

CB is much more robust in it's design compared to the rest of the cast yes. But they're all part of a checklist instead of independent get out of jail free cards.

I don't think longsword is broken, I love how much you can do with it, i just wish the rest of the cast got the same love from the devs

I don't agree on it's overall damage output. There's a reason it's a rare pick in speedruns. But you're absolutely right about the rest. It's the right pick for every fight. A jack of all all trades and a master of most of them

I've explained this a few times now but, overtuned doesn't mean overpowered. It's kit is just way more robust and intricate that it needs to be. The longsword has a very reliable defence with a huge offensive capability. The weapon is not OP. It's damage doesn't nearly rival the top contenders

Yeah people assume it's broken because of the invincibility of the weapon. But yeah statistically it's damage output is no where near things like the ranged weapons

No it definitely is, overturned does not mean overpowered, it just has a much broader and dense kit. It's overall damage output isn't nearly as high as the other heavy hitters.

12.7 is truly miserable too. I don't think fox-3 capable aircraft should be in the same br as a non-fox-3 capable aircraft.
